Just Dance Now es una aplicación móvil desarrollada y lanzada por Ubisoft y forma parte de la franquicia Just Dance. Es la segunda aplicación móvil que se lanzará después de AutoDance. La aplicación fue lanzada el 25 de septiembre de 2014 para todas las regiones.
Como lo trabaja[]
Descarga la app de forma gratuita (Just Dance Now) y ten una pantalla conectable como un televisor, ordenador de sobremesa o tablet que se conecte a internet. Use su pantalla y vaya a justdancenow.com y conéctese a su dispositivo o cuenta. Luego, usando su teléfono, conéctese a un servidor de canciones o un servidor con cantidades de personas. No requiere un sistema de juego ni tarifas. Usa tu teléfono como un control remoto y baila. Realiza un seguimiento de tu puntuación mirando la pantalla.
En un Apple TV de 4ª generación, descarga la aplicación desde la App Store del Apple TV. Puedes usar el Siri-Remote del Apple TV o un teléfono inteligente.
Antes de la actualización de la versión 1.3.4, los jugadores de diferentes países no podían unirse en la misma sala de baile, sin embargo, los jugadores del mismo país podían unirse en la misma sala de baile, independientemente de si viven o no en el mismo estado, provincia o de otro tipo.

Challenge Mode[]
Al igual que Just Dance 2015, el Modo Desafío, que permite a los jugadores enfrentar sus puntajes entre sí, se agregó el 14 de abril de 2015.
Song levels (historical)[]
In the October 22, 2015 update, song levels were added into the game. You had to dance to a song to gain XP and level up the song, unlocking new avatars and earning coins to unlock new songs for unlimited plays (except VIP-locked songs). To buy a new song, you needed 150 coins. You could also purchase coins from the shop.
Below are the historical rewards for each level on every song.
Level 1: 20 coins
Level 2: Avatar representing the song
Level 3: 40 coins
Level 4: Golden avatar representing the song
Level 5: 90 coins
Level 6: Diamond avatar representing the song
Song levels, golden and diamond avatars were removed in the July 25, 2017 update. The method of spending and earning coins was also changed: spending 100 coins will only play a song once, and you get 100 coins for logging in every 24 hours, with a maximum cap of 200. This means you can dance one song for free each day, and you can stock up two days' worth of coins.

In the March 3rd, 2016 update, a Search feature has been implemented into the game.
Requirements for Android/iOS[]
1. A phone with the app downloaded on it.
- For Android: Just Dance Now needs a phone or tablet with Android 4.4 and higher, and at least 58 MB of internal storage for installation. A tablet works like a connected screen, so you can view the dances from it.
- For iOS: Just Dance Now is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad with iOS 10.0 or later and requires at least 206.8 MB of storage for installation. iPad works like a connected screen, so you can view the dances from it.
2. A screen which can connect to the internet (a PC, a tablet, a Smart TV, a Chromecast, or a 4th-gen Apple TV)
It is incompatible with any other platform.

- Up to 20,000 people can dance on a server at once, but Ubisoft states that an unlimited amount of people can join in.
- This is the second mobile app which Ubisoft has created as part of the Just Dance franchise, after AutoDance. It is followed by the Just Dance 2015 Motion Controller app (now called Just Dance Controller).
- Wake Me Up was used in all the trailers for the launch. However, the song was released after a week of the game's release.
- Happy is the second song in the history of appearing in Just Dance Now before launch and the first song that is not a DLC. It was preceded by Movement is Happiness (Find Your Thing) and is followed by Blame.
- Like in Just Dance 2015, Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017, and Just Dance 2018, difficulties are not present.
- If you have an ad blocker plugin activated in your browser, you won't be able to play any song from the "free songs" section.
- When the screen is chosen as the controller, the avatar of Somethin' Stupid (P2) can be seen on the phone who isn't the controller.
- Some HD remakes (such as E.T., D.A.N.C.E., Firework, Idealistic, Girlfriend and Hey Ya) were first seen in showreels uploaded on Vimeo between 2012 and 2013, so the game was most likely intended to be created before.
- The first Just Dance 2015 song to appear in Just Dance Now is Happy by Pharrell Williams.
- Some of the songs were removed from Just Dance Now. However, some of them returned.
- Sway (Quien Sera), Heart of Glass and We No Speak Americano (Fanmade) were removed on March 2, 2015. However, they returned the following day.
- Sway (Quien Sera) was once again removed on March 27, 2015. This time, it was restored on March 31, 2015.
- Fatima was removed on March 24, 2015, along with TiK ToK, Hot Stuff and U Can't Touch This two days later. However, the last three returned the same day they were removed.
- I Get Around was removed on April 14, 2015. However, it returned the next day.
- Happy got removed a week after its release, but it was restored on April 17, 2015.
- You're On My Mind was removed about an hour after it was added on April 30, 2015. However, it returned a week later on May 7, 2015.
- Movement is Happiness (Find Your Thing) was replaced by The Choice Is Yours on August 14, 2015.
- However, Movement Is Happiness (Find Your Thing) replaced The World Is Ours on October 22nd, 2015. This also removed the Coca-Cola 7 Day challenge.
- The Choice Is Yours was replaced by Taste The Feeling as the only free song in the game on March 10th, 2016.
- In the trailer, during the scenes showing the tracklist, Never Gonna Give You Up and Rock Lobster are shown, even though they haven't been released in the game yet.
- Additionally, in an image shown on the updated website for the game, Forget You and Dançando are shown in the image, although none of these songs has been released into the service yet.[1]
- Some songs were put in incorrect sections. For example, We No Speak Americano was in the Duet section and Bad Romance was in the Solo section. These mistakes often get fixed in a few days.
- In version 1.3.4, a new Katy Perry section similar to the one in Just Dance Unlimited was added, and all songs from Just Dance 2016 were added as well, except Same Old Love. However, a VIP pass or the Just Dance 2016 Pack is required to play these. The UI has been changed to resemble the UI from the eighth-generation console versions of Just Dance 2016, and a new feature that allows players from different countries to join in the same room.
- As of December 23, 2016, all Just Dance 2016 songs are now unlockable for coins.
- On February 1, 2017, both Katy Perry and Just Dance 2016 sections were removed from the game.
- In the updated version, the preview video uses the Gold Move effect from Just Dance 2015 and Just Dance 2016; however, the game uses a different Gold Move effect.
- On November 17, 2015, in light of the November 15 terrorist attacks in Paris, Ubisoft recolored the Just Dance Now logo to the colors of the French flag, similar to other websites such as Amazon and Facebook.
- France is the home country of Ubisoft, the creators of the Just Dance games.
- On November 23rd, 2015, the amount of free songs decreased from three (five including the Coke songs) to one (the Coke songs were no longer free). Also, The Choice Is Yours became a Just Dance 2016 Pack/VIP exclusive.
- However, a few hours later, The Choice Is Yours became a free song again.
- On October 22nd, 2015, the monthly subscription and the 3-Month subscription for VIP was removed from the shop.
- However, on December 9th, 2015, the 3-month subscription was restored back into the shop.
- The Chromecast version has some differences compared to the PC version:
- Most songs will have the 2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 Gold Move effect and the 2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 pictogram bar.
- This is because the videos used for the gameplays on the Chromecast version already have the pictograms and Gold Move effects, similar to the Just Dance Now previews.
- The feedback icons are just images, they don't appear animated.
- There aren't any transitions when the song begins/ends.
- The Coach Selection Menu appears in a separate screen. This was changed in the July 25, 2017 update: the song menu and the coach selection menu now appear as one screen, similar to the web version.
- When lyrics are highlighted, each syllable is highlighted instead of each letter and the length of how long the certain part is said, similar to ABBA: You Can Dance, but after a whole line is highlighted, it disappears right away.
- Most songs will have the 2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 Gold Move effect and the 2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 pictogram bar.
- As of January 19th, 2016, all community content routines available in the game (such as the Fanmade routines and the Sexy And I Know It Community Remix) now require a VIP subscription in order to play them.
- However, if the player bought a community routine with Mojo Coins before the said routine became a VIP exclusive, that routine will still be accessible.
- When Maneater was first added, a VIP subscription was required to play the song. This was later changed, meaning that it is now unlockable with Mojo Coins.
- This would later occur to It’s Raining Men, Acceptable in the 80s, Holding Out for a Hero, I Feel Love, I Need Your Love, Summer and The Choice Is Yours.
- Any Dance Crew songs that have been added after the October 22nd, 2015 update will not have ''QUAT'' at the end of their codenames in the files.
- Some of the songs in the game do not have the Gold Move effect in their preview videos, such as Die Young and Bang Bang.
- There was a glitch where all songs except Taste The Feeling had a VIP icon in the small versions of their squares. However, this was later fixed.
- Let It Go is placed before Kaboom Pow, and the Community Remix for I Gotta Feeling was not featured in the Recently Added section when the routine was added to the game.
- If you purchase a song in Free Mode with Mojo Coins, the song will have no commercial, but if you play one of the songs in the ''FREE SONGS'' section, the song will have a commercial.
- There is an error where The Choice Is Yours cannot be purchased using Mojo Coins although the option appears in the Web app of the game.
- On the Apple TV 4th Generation, the interface is much different than the other ways to play.
- The coaches are selected on a different screen and not at the side of the menu icon, the feedbacks have different effects and the Gold Move and star sounds overlap the song for few seconds.
- The glass effect that appears on squares from Just Dance 2014 still appears on covers from songs that were in that game.
- This is mostly the case with original routines. Most part of alternate versions have glass effect removed from their squares.
- Duets from games older than Just Dance 4 will sometimes have some pictogram errors; sometimes, an incorrect pictogram will appear and a pictogram will have some parts of its image being missing.
- From an unknown date to May 11th, 2016, there was a glitch where preview videos would not play if a locked song was selected.
- I Need Your Love was accidentally featured in the "Alternate Choreographies" section when it was added.
- As of June 7th, 2016, support for the Samsung Smart TV has been released for the game.
- Taste The Feeling had an alternate and replaced the original version as a free song on July 11th, 2016. The original version can be unlocked using Mojo Coins
- Taste The Feeling has a Community Remix of the alternate routine and has replaced the alternate routine by itself as a free song in September 8th, 2016. The alternate routine can be unlocked using Mojo Coins.
- Take Me Out and Feel So Right are not placed alphabetically in the "Solo" section, instead, they show up at the end of the list. This also happens to Just Dance - Sing Along version in the "Alternate Choreographies" section.
- As of October 5th, 2016, players are allowed to get a 7-Day Free Trial for a VIP Pass.
- The Gold Move effect has been updated. It looks similar to the aftershine on the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3.
- As of October 18th, 2016. Taste The Feeling (Original) became a free song again. The community remix version is now a VIP exclusive.

- Scream & Shout was supposed to be available in the game for the New Year update.
- When Bang, Carnaval Boom, El Tiki and Tico-Tico No Fubá were released, their related avatars that came with the banner DANCE TO UNLOCK were accidentally replaced by a disco ball avatar for a short period of time.
- When Macarena was re-added, a glitch occurred: the game unlocked Holding Out For A Hero's avatar instead.
- As of an unknown date, the files in the archives have a Just Dance 2017-themed banner as the background instead of a black one (which is generally used when you open an image in a new tab), and it doesn't let you scroll left or right anymore when you zoom into a pictograms sprite.
- During the end of March 2017, a playlist dedicated to Dr. Luke was added. It features (in order): Maps, Circus, Wild, This Is How We Do, Good Feeling, Built For This, Teacher, Birthday and Moves Like Jagger.
- A new website has been created (new.justdancenow.com), which borrows some of the Just Dance 2018 graphical assets. It has some differences compared to the previous version:
- When you highlight a song, the video preview will play.
- You cannot play any songs (even the free ones) without a phone connected.
- Updating the app makes prevents linking accounts with Facebook. Instead, accounts can be connected to Game Center or Google Play Games to backup progress and earn achievements.
- As is the case with Just Dance Unlimited, alternate routines are displayed along with the Classic routines in the alphabetically sorted playlists.
- All Community Remixes are taken off the game. It is unknown if they will return.
- According to the app files, the updated version uses the Unity (game engine) game engine.
- On June 28, 2017, every routine in the app became coin-unlockable and the price was reduced to 100 coins per song.
- Updating the app to version 2.0.4 will compensate the player with 1000 coins for each song they unlocked in the previous version.
- In the new version of the game, you need to play the same song 4 times to unlock the avatar.
- In the old version of the game, the "Community Content" section was briefly affected by a glitch that replaced the actual routines with Airplanes, All About That Bass, All About Us, Am I Wrong, American Girl and Animals, which couldn't even be clicked on.
- From July 31, 2017, the old version of the website is no longer available; now, the "www.justdancenow.com" and "new.justdancenow.com" URLs both lead to the updated version of the site.
- There are currently 14 languages in Just Dance Now: English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Brazillian Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Russian, Swedish, Korean and Japanese.

- Coins can also be earned by watching a limited amount of ads through the game shop.
- The Experience Level system has been simplified to a Global XP Level (similar to the one in Just Dance 2018).
- The coverflow header, footer, and score recap screens have been adapted to fit the coin regeneration system.
- Avatars can now be unlocked by getting at least three stars on its respective routine, instead of playing it four times.
