Today is MLK Day which means Black History Month is just around the corner! That means we will be opening up fanart and mashup submissions for our annual Black History Month blogs, highlighting the Black artists, dancers, and characters in the series! The rules are the same as previous events, here they are:
Please don't submit art from previous events (but feel free to draw the same character again or mashup a different song by the same artist)
Art must relate to the month, such a song by a Black artist (The Weeknd, Doja Cat, etc.), be of a Black character (Mama Christmas, The Muses, etc.), or character played a Black dancer (Gigi Revlon/Gigi Palmer, Jerky Jessy, etc.)
No AI
No stolen artwork
No NSFW (including lyrics in mashups)
Please do not take existing assets and paint over the dancers to make them appear black. That might inadvertently look like something bad.
You can submit up to 5 things, the amount featured will depend on the total amount received.
Submissions will be due by the publication of Part 2, which will be in mid-February.
Song suggestions will be opened in a separate thread in a couple weeks.
