  • I strongly suggest you translate existing pages into Romanian before creating new ones, or do not create pages unless you are 100% sure you are going to translate them. You don't want to wind up like the German wiki.

    • It's not that kind of warning LOL. More like a word of cautionary advice.

Well, all I'm saying is there's no point in having red-link filled pages in English. If it's not going to be translated then why bother bringing it over? If people want English content, they can just go to the English wiki. Having a wiki filled with a bunch red links and pages that aren't even in your target language is not going to bring people to your wiki. Just look at the German wiki. It's a hot mess. But look at the Spanish wiki. Sure, it's 700 pages short, but all (or at least most) of the 331 pages are in Spanish and it has more contributors than just people from the regular wiki translating things. And if you really think about it, there's only about 400 songs in the main and Japanese series not counting JD Machine and game features, so it's really not too far off.

Anyway, the point of all this is that don't bite off more than you can chew. Don't create any more pages until you translate what you have, unless you know you are going to translate them. Like I said, you don't want to wind up like the German wiki.

There's the translate template. It acts like the stub template but it's for translating.

That's a good idea, but that you still don't want a whole bunch of stub articles that can really only be edited by bilingual speakers. As I said above "If people want English content, they can just go to the English wiki. Having a wiki filled with a bunch red links and pages that aren't even in your target language is not going to bring people to your wiki."
