Just Dance 2025 Edition is the sixteenth installment in the main Just Dance series, serving as the third annual Song pack for the Just Dance service.[5]
The game was mentioned in the June update presentation on June 17, 2024,[5] and officially revealed the following day during the Nintendo Direct. The game was released on October 15, 2024.

This is a music-rhythm game in which players perform choreographed routines by following the movements of on-screen characters. Players score points by accurately dancing in time to the music and scrolling indicators. - With only 41 Songs, Just Dance 2025 Edition for the third smallest tracklist in the main series, after Just Dance (32), Just Dance 2017 and Just Dance 2026 Edition (40) and is followed by Just Dance 2015 and Just Dance 2024 Edition (42).
- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first installment on the Just Dance service to be rated E10+ by the ESRB.
- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first game since Just Dance 3 to not have a physical release for any Xbox console, as the Xbox Series version of the game is not available through a code-in-box release and is only available digitally.
- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first annual Song pack on the Just Dance service to include themed Song packs.
- Including the franchise, it is the second one.
- When advertising Just Dance+ in the announcement trailer, Woman (All-Mother Version) is seen in the spiral despite not being featured on the service.

- However, the last two had silent clips shown on Instagram and were prefaced with an announcement saying they were unable to give them previews.[9]
- Retailer MediaMarkt erroneously claimed on the Dutch version of its website that 22 by Taylor Swift and Thrift Shop by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were included in the game.[10]
- Thrift Shop would later be added to Just Dance 2026 Edition.
- The Ariana Grande Song pack was initially marketed by retailers as being an add-on that could be played by anyone with any game on the Just Dance service.[6] However, when it was fully announced, it was clarified that the pack is exclusive to Just Dance 2025 Edition as part of the main list and is not sold separately.[11]

- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first game in the franchise where an artist has more than three Songs featured in one game.
- The artist in question is Ariana Grande, with five Songs being featured in the game: break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored, One Last Time, the boy is mine, we can’t be friends (wait for your love), and yes, and?.

- The HUD can now appear properly after the transition in most Songs from past Just Dance games instead of just appearing before the transition.
