Trivia
General
- At a length of 4:45, (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life is the longest song in Just Dance 4, and also one of the longest in the whole series.
- (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life is the first song in the series to have parentheses at the beginning of the title.
- The radio edit version of the song is used, where the instrumental bridge parts are shortened.
- The song is sampled in the The Time (Dirty Bit).
Classic
- (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life is the second routine to have a cut scene, after Why Oh Why.
- The dancers resemble the artists but the outfits they wear resemble the ones worn by the actors in the climax of the film, Dirty Dancing, where this song comes from.
- However, the outfits are in different color schemes whereas in the film, the dress was completely pink and the suit was completely black.
- Additionally, the final move of the routine is the same as the move the dancers are doing on the front of the album where this song comes from (Dirty Dancing: Anniversary Edition).
- Sometimes, when playing the routine, parts of P1's glove will turn golden and glittery.
- The Just Dance 4 album background is slightly different from the background in the menu square, as it does not show the floor.
- In the Just Dance Now files, there are two pictograms that are blue and yellow instead of yellow and red, so the positions or color schemes for the dancers may have been different during production.[2]
- (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life can be found in the Just Dance Unlimited files, but it does not appear in the game.
- Also, in the archives for the Just Dance World Cup website, there is an unused avatar for P2.
Mashup
- Ring My Bell appears in the coach selection menu, despite her not appearing in the Mashup at all.
- However, this is only the case for the Wii U. For the PS3, Love You Like A Love Song will appear instead.
- Mas Que Nada’s pictograms are blue instead of the original brown, and Make The Party (Don't Stop)’s pictograms are in a much darker shade.
- There is also one incorrect pictogram, during the part of Let’s Go To The Mall: when she performs her own Gold Move, the game shows the pictogram for the previous move.
- In the Mashup, the part where The Power performs his Gold Move 1 is repeated several times during the saxophone solo.
