"A Night in the Château de Versailles" (spelled as "A Night in the château de Versailles" in-game) by The Just Dance Orchestra is featured on Just Dance 2024 Edition, 舞力无限, and Just Dance Now.
The song consists of a modern pop remix of "Marche pour la cérémonie des Turcs" by Jean-Baptiste Lully and "Forêts paisables" by Jean-Philippe Rameau.[3]
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The routine is performed by a man and a woman dressed in 18th century French aristocratic fashion.
P1[]
P1 is Charles. He has light brunette hair with ringlets, eyebrows, and a thin mustache. He also has a black mole on the left side of his face. He wears a blue ornate formal attire in the style of habit à la française, which consists of a short justacorps-like blue open suit, a large white undercoat, and blue breeches. The suit has stiff shoulders, rolled-up outer sleeves to reveal the inner sleeves and patterns in a lighter shade of blue. The undercoat’s sleeve ends contain large ruffles. Hanging on his neck is a white cravat. He also wears a pair of white socks and a pair of blue formal shoes with small buckles, short heels, and squared toes. He also wears an orange glove, which has a shiny silver ring on his ring finger.
P2[]
P2 is Jeanne. She has pink hair piled up in a small beehive with a loose strand that is adorned with purple and light gold and violet flowers clustering on the right side of her hair. She also has thin pink eyebrows, dark purple eyelashes, and red lips. On her ears are silver hanging earrings with dark blue gems and on her neck is a diamond-studded necklace with black gems on each segment. She also wears a strong violet glove, specifically French violet.
She wears a blue ornate ball gown in the style of robe à la française, with large white ruffles at the end of the sleeves, white frills that are aligned vertically by the sides of her dress and having large hips to show off the gown. The patterns on her gown are in a lighter shade of blue. She also wears a pair of shiny magenta kitten heels with shiny white gems at the upper surface of her heels and short sharp heels. She also wears a deep purple glove and it reaches halfway to her elbow, with a diamond-encrusted bangle on her wrist and a shiny ring on her ring finger.
Background[]
The routine takes place on the outside of the Palace of Versailles, lit up in orange against the night sky. The dancers stand on a wide walkway with small trees on either side. At a different point in the routine, the dancers face the opposite way on this walkway, with a fountain in a large circular pond in a large garden visible in the background. At a different portion of the routine, the dancers are inside the palace, in the Hall of Mirrors. The hall is decorated for a ball and ornate orange chandeliers hang from the ceiling. The ball takes place further down the hall, full of well-dressed dancers.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Move your left arm up and your right arm down, and then bring them together, while spreading and closing your legs and facing the left side. The left leg must be placed in front of the right one. This move occurs within two half beats.
Gold Move 2:
- P1: Wave your right hand while moving your arm and your torso to the left in a semicircle.
- P2: Same as P1, but while facing the right side and without moving your arm and torso.
