Trivia
General
- Baby Zouk is the first song in the series by Dr. Creole.
- Baby Zouk originally went for 1 minute 35 seconds but in all the games that it appears in, it has been extended to 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- Along with Twist and Shake It, this is one of two songs in Just Dance 3 to be extended.
- Baby Zouk is the only unlockable song in Just Dance 3 with a Mashup.
Classic
- Baby Zouk is the first unlockable map in Just Dance 3.
- There are two pictogram errors in all games the song appears in: one after Gold Move 1 and one after Gold Move 2. In both, the colors are reversed.
- In Just Dance 3, both players undergo a forced backwards movement.
- The remake, instead, has a forced movement at the beginning that pulls P1 to the center of the screen.
- The background reappears in Rock Lobster in Just Dance 4.
- Baby Zouk’s files in the old version of Just Dance Now show that the original pictograms are separated, implying that pictograms were supposed to slide in from different directions in Just Dance 3.
- This is also seen in a Beta picture for No Limit
- In Just Dance Now, some of the pictograms used to be displayed half-cut.
- The album coach was updated to have a white fade similar to the ones in Just Dance 2014 and Just Dance 2015.
- In an Instagram story posted by @justdancegame to announce the availability of an one-month-long Just Dance Unlimited subscription, Baby Zouk’s menu icon can be briefly spotted.[4]
- This also happens in a promotional video for Just Dance Unlimited via Just Dance 2022.[5][6][7]
Mashup
- With only four different coaches (including the Classic ones), Baby Zouk’s Mashup has the lowest number of unique coaches in any Mashup in the series.
- The Gold Moves from Sway (Quien Sera) and Da Funk are not counted.
- The menu icon uses Da Funk’s Beta menu square poses.
- The pictogram that replaces Sway (Quien Sera)’s Gold Move is stretched vertically on the Xbox 360.
- Besides, some pictograms have different arrows from the ones that are seen in the Just Dance: Greatest Hits files and in the remake.
