"Bad Habits" by Ed Sheeran is featured on Just Dance Unlimited, Just Dance Now, and Just Dance+. The song was also featured on 舞力无限, but it was removed.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The coach is a man named Lysander, who has black and pink braids, a black band, face makeup, and yellow earrings. He has a black hoodie that glows in rhythm with different colors, a yellow eye-shaped necklace, pink pants, and yellow and pink shoes with blue laces. The hoodie says "DREAM ON" in black, which you can only see when all the colors on his hoodie are on. He has a cyan glove and a fading outline that changes its color between light blue, pink, yellow, and white.
Background[]
The routine occurs on an elevated path named The Moon Walk[2]. The routine takes place at night, with a big moon on the horizon.
The map begins with the song title floating to the sides of the coach’s silhouette, being lit from behind. The elevated path he dances on has three benches and eight lampposts on each side of it. Only a few buildings can be seen. As the song starts, the lampposts turn on. When the instrumental kicks in, more buildings become visible. The buildings' windows light up in sync with the song melody, while the lampposts do it in sync with the song beats until the end of the verses.
When the chorus starts, the camera turns 180º to reveal the same city behind, but the sky is now orange. The moon is a bright orb with psychedelic pink and yellow waves, which lights the city in yellow light. The buildings are covered in those same waves. When the chorus repeats, some orange waves appear on the elevated path's ground. During the post-chorus, the orb irradiates waves that cross the sky, and the path's floor has pink waves and bigger ones glowing yellow. According to the official Just Dance Twitter account, this is the "Flow Moon" infusing mystical energy throughout the city.[3]
On the bridge, the sky is pink, the buildings have darker shadows, and all the waves seem to glitch in sync with the song.
When the song ends, the orb shines brighter, becoming almost blinding.
Gold Moves[]
There are 3 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Moves 1 and 3: Quickly cross your arms and move your right leg back.
Gold Move 2: Punch downwards while bending your legs outwards.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Bad Habits is the third song by Ed Sheeran in the series.
- The following errors appear in the lyrics:
- "Starin’ at space" is misinterpreted as "Stare into space".
- "And" is missing from the line "And burned’ till the fun ran out now".
- In the Just Dance Now release notification, the song is referred to by its codename ("BadHabits").
Routine[]
- Bad Habits is the fourth Just Dance Unlimited-exclusive map to be free upon release for a limited period (two weeks in this case), after Woman Like Me, Drum Go Dum, and Positions.
- It is the fifth such map in the entire history of Just Dance Unlimited, after Troublemaker, Woman Like Me, Drum Go Dum, and Positions.
- Lysander is a masculine name in Greek, meaning "liberator". The name comprises the elements "lysis" (freedom) and "andros" (man).
- The background of Bad Habits was used to tease Season 2: Surreal.
- Along with the trailer for Season 2: Surreal, the preview for Bad Habits was uploaded to the Just Dance UK YouTube channel a day before the start of the season itself, but both videos were marked as unlisted. Both videos were made "Private" approximately an hour later.
- Additionally, the season trailer and preview on the US channel are formatted as if they were on the UK channel, using the UK channel’s style of thumbnails and the PEGI logo.
- On Just Dance’ YouTube channel, in the playlist "Just Dance 2022 | Gameplay", the preview of Bad Habits is mistakenly featured twice.
- In the Just Dance Now release notification, the menu square is replaced by a placeholder.
- In a "Behind the Map" post, the background is referred to as "Dancity".
- The background is also mentioned in a post that reads "Dan City is around here" on the first picture of the universe taken by the James Webb Space Telescope.[4]
- During Season 2: Surreal, Just Dance’s official Twitter account posted GIFs of Lysander being teleported to backgrounds of other Just Dance 2022 maps.
- The first GIF was posted on June 15, 2022, and Lysander is teleported from the background of the original routine to that of Black Mamba.[5]
- The second GIF was posted on June 23, and Lysander is teleported from the background of Black Mamba to that of I’m Outta Love.[6]
- The third GIF was posted on June 29. Starting from the background of I’m Outta Love, Lysander goes through the backgrounds of Chacarron, Human, Judas, Levitating, and Love Story (Taylor’s Version) before reaching the original one.[7]
- These GIFs were later referenced in another tweet shared on July 5, 2022, which reads "You've just been teleported to the last Just Dance track you played. Where did you end up?".[8]
- On July 6, 2022, Just Dance’s official Twitter account hosted a contest called "Finders Keepers", where followers had to find Lysander’s necklace in pictures posted during Season 2: Surreal.
- On the first chorus, during the "I got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do" line, there is an editing error causing only Lysander to have a camera movement.[9]
- On an unknown date the issue would be fixed in Just Dance+.[10]
