"Balkan Blast Remix" by Angry Birds is featured on Just Dance 2016, Just Dance Now, Just Dance Unlimited, 舞力无限, and Just Dance+. It is also available in Kids Mode through all games with the service if the player has an active Just Dance Unlimited subscription.

Appearance of the Dancers[]

The dancers are the characters from the famous mobile video game Angry Birds. The dancers wears blue jumpsuit underneath the costume and they're all wearing matching white sneakers. They also have blue solid outline that change to orange in the nighttime.

P1[]

P1 is Red. He is a red bird with a peach-colored belly, two feathers on top of his head, three black feathered tail in the back, big black eyebrows, and three dark spots under his big eyes that nearly connected together. His glove is black-purple.

P2[]

P2 is Bomb. He is a black bird with a grey-colored belly and spots around his eyes, red eyebrows, and a feather with yellow top which treated as his fuse. His glove is electric violet.

P3[]

P3 is Chuck. He is a yellow, triangle-shaped bird with white belly, dark red eyebrows, and black feathers in the top of his head as well in the back as his tail. His glove is orange.

P4[]

P4 is a Piggy. He is a green pig that has a small snout with two black holes in them, small ears, and small black eyebrows. His glove is also colored orange.

Background[]

After showing the Angry Birds logo, Red catapults himself to the other dancers. For the most part, the routine takes place on an island. There are TNT boxes, wood, and stone stacked, which fall over and restack. At times, there are white puffy clouds, and lightning bolts. This is inspired by the game the routine is based on. As the song ends a multicoloured iris Pop's out, closing every except the pig, which he oinks as the routine concluded.

General[]

  • Balkan Blast Remix is the third song in the series to span from a game, after Just Mario and Tetris.
  • In the Behind the Track interview, the song is titled as Angry Birds.

Classic[]

  • Balkan Blast Remix was the first Dance Crew in Just Dance 2016 to be revealed. It was shortly followed by Circus, which was also revealed at Gamescom.
  • Balkan Blast Remix, Irish Meadow Dance, Kool Kontact, and William Tell Overture are the only instrumental songs in Just Dance 2016.
  • It is revealed in the Behind the Scenes that The Pig is in a dark shade of blue so that he does not blend in with the green screen.
    • Because of this, Chuck’s glove turns from dark orange to brown whenever he gets closer to The Pig.
  • Several pictograms have minor editing errors, which mostly consists of limbs blending into each other or grey pixels between limbs.
    • In another pictogram, some red pixels can be seen on the edged of the clap emblems.
    • In another pictogram, the shake emblem over Bomb's left hand is red instead of black.
  • In some promotional images, the coaches’ sneakers are black instead of white, and their outlines fade around their feet instead of surrounding their whole body. The coaches also had less saturated colors, with the pig being in a darker shade of green.
  • In the early Just Dance Now files, there are non-golden version of the pictograms for Gold Move 2, which prove that those moves were not intended to be Gold Moves.
  • In the Kids Mode of Just Dance 2018, each dancer has a remade avatar that lacks its facial features.
  • The sound effects differed for each game it was featured on.
