"Best Song Ever" by One Direction is featured on Just Dance 2015, 舞力全开2015, and Just Dance Now (for players who subscribed before April 9, 2024). The song was also featured on Just Dance Unlimited and 舞力无限, but was removed on August 1 and 2, 2024, respectively.

Appearance of the Dancers[]

The routine involves a dance crew of four young men, resembling superheroes. All of them wear dark blue catsuits with matching shoes. They all have dark, short hair.

P1[]

P1’s catsuit has pink accents. He is seen wearing dark blue glasses.

P2[]

P2’s catsuit has lime green accents. He is wearing a dark blue headband with a lime green streak.

P3[]

P3’s catsuit has cyan accents. He is also seen wearing a dark blue glasses.

P4[]

P4’s suit has red accents. He is also wearing a dark blue headband with a red streak.

Background[]

The background is a bright cloudy sky with the moon exposed. At "oh oh oh," it quickly transitions to a dark blue background with colorful rays of light flying about. As the gold moves occur, a row of pink, lime green, cyan and red panels appear behind the matching dancers. Afterwards, the original cloudy background moves upwards into a darker scene.

Best Song Ever has an unlockable Mashup with the theme Fitness. It takes the role of a Sweat Mashup. It is the only "Sweat Mashup" on Just Dance 2015.

There are 4 Gold Moves for each coach in this routine, all of which are the same. All of them are Wave Gold Moves which occur from P1 to P4. For Gold Moves 1 and 3, the moves are done consecutively:

  • P1: Look to the left and keep your body forward with your arms behind you.
  • P2: Bend and cross your right leg (left for Gold Move 2) and extend your arms down.
  • P3: Throw your arms in the air and lift your right leg.
  • P4: Strike your right fist in the air, keeping your left arm by your side.

Mashup[]

There are 3 Gold Moves in the Mashup:

Gold Move 1: Slightly kneel on your left leg with both hands by your hips (María (Sweat)).
Gold Move 2: Lower both of your arms (Follow The Leader (Sweat)).
Gold Move 3: Raise your arms slowly from below whilst walking forward at a quick pace (Flashdance... What A Feeling).

  • Best Song Ever is the fifth song by One Direction in the main series.

Classic[]

  • Best Song Ever is the third routine for a song by One Direction to be a Dance Crew.
  • Best Song Ever is the first pre-Just Dance 2016 map to receive an additional preview gameplay before its return in Just Dance Unlimited.
  • Best Song Ever’s menu banner is the third one to portray the original background as it is instead of applying effects to it, after I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’.
  • P1 and P3 have identical visors and accents on their costumes (albeit with different colors). This also applies to P2 and P4.
  • At the end of the song, P2 of Only You (And You Alone) can be seen in the far background.
  • When P1 performs his Gold Move 3, the same pictogram is reused despite the other coaches moving their right arms in a circle only once rather than three times.
  • In Just Dance 2015, in the pictogram for Gold Move 2, the golden outline around the pictograms merges with the one around the wave symbols; in the pictogram for Gold Move 4, instead, the pictograms and the wave emblems have their own golden outline.
  • In one pictogram in Just Dance 2015, the glove emblems are erroneously placed behind the right hands.

    • The issue was fixed after its release in Just Dance Unlimited.

Mashup[]

  • Best Song Ever’s Mashup is the only Sweat Mashup in the entirety of Just Dance 2015.
  • Boomsday is the only coach from a game prior to Just Dance 2014 to appear in the Mashup.
    • Additionally, the coach’s skin and jacket do not turn black like in the original routine.
  • Flashdance... What A Feeling is the only coach in the Mashup not to have originated from any Sweat routine.
  • The score tracking adds more points to the player’s score than in other songs for unknown reasons. Due to this, it is considerably easy to get 13,333 points.
  • The final moves for Limbo (Sweat) come after the song ends.
