Appearance of the Dancers[]
The dancers are the Gorgons.[6] They are three women portrayed as snake goddesses.[7]
P1[]
P1 is Stheno,[6] wearing an aquamarine snake skin leotard with several cutouts. She also wears matching high boots. She has bright pink hair in a ponytail with aquamarine plastic snakes in her hair. A golden snake can be found around her neck, she also has a matching snake bracelet, as well as several other bracelets and hoop earrings. Her eyeshadow and lipstick are both green. She also wears an orange glove.
P2[]
P2 is Medusa,[6] wearing a black, one sleeved and one legged suit with shiny blue scales in several areas. A dark gray plastic snake can be seen going around her body, starting from her right leg and ending on top of her head. She has purple hair tied in a long braid. She also wears black boots. She accessorizes with many golden chains with a blue crystal in it, as well as several bracelets and matching earrings. She has a blue lipstick and eyeshadow. She also wears a magenta glove.
P3[]
P3 is Euryale,[6] wearing a pink snake skin bodysuit with cutouts by the hips, bust, and on the legs. She also has matching boots. She has aquamarine hair with a pink cobra-style headpiece. She accessorizes with many thin, golden necklaces, bracelets and a double chain around her waist. Additionally, she has the same hoop earrings as P1. She also wears a pink lipstick and eyeshadow in the same color. She also wears a blue glove.
Background[]
The routine takes place in the Ophidian Temple.[7] The Temple is formed by white and gold structures, a salmon to light pink gradient background behind them, gold giant snakes and a circular shiny platform where the coaches stand which has several rings and patterns, and works as an elevator to transition between different sceneries.
The routine starts with the platform moving up surrounded by white and gold towers. The patterns on the platform light up in yellow to the beat of the song. This keeps happening throughout the song, but in different colors. As the verse starts, the platform flashes pink and reaches a stage with white and gold towers in the back, and floating white hexagonal panels around the platform; half of them have two pink hexagonal lines and change color to the beat of the song, the other half are bigger, their lines are gold and over them are gold sculptures of cobra heads surrounded by white decorations which flash pink to the song beats. As the pre-chorus starts, the platform ascends and keeps doing it until the chorus; now it flashes purple. It is a similar scenery as the last one, but the hexagonal panels are wrapped by gold snakes. Other panels are only white and have decorations over them which flash purple. Behind them, there are tall white and gold towers with gold snakes surrounding them.
When the chorus starts, a glitch effect covers the entire background. The platform flashes green. There are similar panels to the previous ones merged to the floor, but these are rhombus shaped and their lines are green. More of them float over the gradient background, which flashes dark indigo to the song beat. There is an arrangement of gold snake statues and two white and gold structures behind the ground panels.
During the bridge, the far background changes to a black to brown gradient, the platform flashes yellow, and around it are black hexagonal panels, black towers with gold decorations and windows which glow and dim down to the beats of the song, and a giant black snake that slithers through the towers. Before the bridge ends, it can be seen for a second that the snake has glowing red eyes. The last chorus starts without a glitch effect, and ends with the background dimming down.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1:
- P2: Raise your right arm quickly to your head in a semicircle.
- P1 and P3: Raise both of your arms up while facing towards P2.
Gold Move 2: Bend both of your arms inside and open them while putting your left leg behind you.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Main article: Black Mamba#General
- The code name for Black Mamba is spelled "BlackMam", which may be due to Let Me Love You already using "BlackMamba" as its code name.[8]
Routine[]
- Black Mamba (Extreme Version), Boombayah, Jopping, and Pop/Stars are the third through sixth Classic routines to have an Extreme difficulty rating, after Part of Me and Drum Go Dum.
- Black Mamba (Extreme Version) and Jopping are the first two Trio routines to be rated Extreme for difficulty.
- The coaches are named after the three Gorgons, who are three sisters from Greek mythology born from the sea gods Phorcys and Ceto.[6]
- In the preview gameplay, the lyrics and pictogram bar were red instead of aquamarine green.
- The routine uses moves from the official choreography.
- According to a "Behind the Map" tweet from Just Dance’s official account, the visual design is inspired from the music video.[7]
- In the pictogram for Medusa’s Gold Move 1, the glow is overlapped between Medusa and Euryale’ bodies.
- In the preview, during the verse where Stheno and Medusa switch places, five pictograms mistakenly had Stheno and Medusa’s colors switched. This was fixed before the release of Just Dance 2022.
- The coaches’ outlines were originally planned to be blue, as shown in the preview gameplay, but they were changed to pink in the final game.
- Additionally, the pink outlines in the final game are less pronounced than the blue outlines in the preview video.
- On June 15, 2022, Just Dance’s official Twitter account posted a video where Lysander teleports to the background of Black Mamba (Extreme Version).[9]
- Black Mamba (Extreme Version) was used in a special Bilibili event hosted by Just Dance on August 16, 2022, where fans had to guess the songs by part of their blackened pictograms. The three people who guessed all of them right before anyone else would have received a prize.
- The routine has been recorded in two takes, as shown by a cut before the start of the second verse.
