"Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel 65 (covered by Steve Ouimette and credited as Hit the Electro Beat in-game[2]) is featured on Just Dance 2018, Just Dance Now, Just Dance Unlimited, 舞力无限, and Just Dance+. This song also appears in Kids Mode. It is also purchasable in the Just Dance service as part of the All Out Fun pack.

Appearance of the Dancer[]

The dancer is a blue male alien named Da’blu, who has a leek-shaped head, green eyes, and pink whiskers.

He wears a dark blue tank top under a royal blue vest with pink accents, a light and dark blue striped belt, royal blue shorts, and dark blue shoes. His glove is dark moderate lime green and he has a black and white solid outline.

Background[]

The routine takes place on a blue planet with colorful mushrooms. Behind Da’blu, there are a lot of clones of in the background with pink faded outlines, many of whom do the exact same moves as the main dancer does. In the chorus, Da’blu goes to space and there are mushrooms with the clones dancing on them. He later heads to a kaleidoscopic background with more clones and mushrooms.

  • In the UK version of the preview, the song is simply titled "Blue".
  • In the lyrics, the word "blue" is lowercase the first time "I’m blue" is sung in each chorus, but it is capitalized the second time.
  • The announcement GIF for Blue (Da Ba Dee) on the @justdancegame Twitter page erroneously lists the artist’s name, Hit The Electro Beat, as "Hit the Electric Beat".[3]
  • The song is sampled and interpolated in I’m Good (Blue).
  • On the promotional tweet for the July 16, 2025 update of Just Dance+, Eiffel 65 are mistakenly credited instead of Hit The Electro Beat.[4]
