Background[]
The routine takes place in a stage. The stage is circular, which has a shiny magenta reflective floor. Spotlights decorate throughout the stage, from the linings on the top of the stage to the hanging lights from above shiny purple curtains cloaked with glitter that surrounds the stage. There are three occupied circular tables and seat that are occupied by male occupants who focus on the stage in front of them. Behind them is a turquoise rectangular frame, which has a large orange and yellow neon sign that says "Willkommen". Spotlights from the ceiling shines down on the dancers.
At the beginning of the routine, the spotlights flash one by one as the dancers perform their moves and remain on for the rest of the routine. After the first chorus, six lights appear on the curtain.
When the third verse starts, the Willkommen sign sparks. During the lyric "With whom I shared four sordid rooms in Chelsea", yellow stage lights on the edges of the stage light up and four spotlights light up the curtain behind the dancers and turn off when the lyric "But when I saw her laid out like a Queen" is sung. The sign then sparks again as the beat of the song speeds up.
When the lyric "I'm going like Elsie" is sung, sparklers light up near the edge of the stage floor. Towards the end of the routine, the spotlights light up again. As "And I love a cabaret!" is sung, the sign sparks again and the sparklers light up on the stage floor once more.
