"Call Me Maybe" (Alternate) is featured on Just Dance 4 and Just Dance+. On Just Dance 4, the routine can be unlocked through the Wheel of Gifts on the Wii, and was unlockable via Ubisoft Connect on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U, prior to the shutdown of online services.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The coach is Maybel, from the Classic routine. Her appearance has been mostly kept the same; however, her hair has been tied back and she now wears a purple denim sleeveless jacket over her dress. She also wears sneakers that match her dress instead of heels.

Routine[]
- Call Me Maybe (Alternate Version) is the first alternate routine in the Just Dance series that is not referred to by a specific label in-game.
- Beauty And A Beat (Mashup), Call Me Maybe (Alternate Version), and Good Feeling (Mashup) were the third, fourth and fifth routines that could be unlocked through Ubisoft Club on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U, after I Was Made For Lovin’ You (Sweat Version) and Pump It (Mashup).
- Call Me Maybe (Alternate Version) is the only Alternate routine in Just Dance 4 that could have been unlocked in this way.
- Call Me Maybe (Alternate Version) was the first post-Just Dance 3 map to receive changes to its pictograms in Just Dance+.
- Specifically, the color has been changed from brown to ochre yellow, and some of them have been either edited or remade from scratch.
- In Just Dance 4, when Maybel performs the Gold Move, the visual effect shakes along with the screen.
- An unused Party Master Mode caption called "Kick ass" can be seen in a promotional picture for Just Dance 2014.
- Like in the Classic counterpart, in Just Dance+, the remake does not zoom outwards to reveal the frame of the phone and its surroundings after the first chorus and in the bridge. However, the sound effects that plays during those parts in Just Dance 4 has been kept.
- Unlike most alternate routines from Just Dance 2023 Edition onwards, the routine is simply referred to as "Call Me Maybe (Alt.)" on the thumbnail of its preview gameplay.
- The map background features one part of the background that has been mirrored on both sides.
