"Can’t Stop the Feeling!" (stylized in all caps) by Justin Timberlake is featured on Just Dance 2023 Edition and Just Dance Now (for players who subscribed before April 9, 2024). The song was also temporarily featured on Just Dance Unlimited for Just Dance 2020 to Just Dance 2022.[3] The song was also featured on 舞力无限 until it was removed due to licensing issues on August 2, 2024.
The song also has an alternate routine titled "Danceverses Prince Version".
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The routine is performed by a woman and a man. Both of them have thin blue faded outlines.
P1[]
P1 is a woman named Sara. She has bright blue hair, with two buns tied by dark red hair bands and with thick overlapping strands. Each hairband contains a large red bead hanging by a thread. The rest of her hair is wavy and free-flowing, with yellow and dark red hair clips by the sides. She has indigo painted eyebrows, yellow eyeshadow, black eyelashes, multicolored freckles, and magenta lips.
She wears a lime green cropped top with an inverted triangle in the center, which is black, blue and yellow. Thick border straps are seen at the top of her crop top, with two straps moving upwards and wrapping around her neck in a two-layered choker. The straps also contain magenta oversized ribbons. Over her crop top is a honey yellow fuzzy open jacket with blue-and-red sleeve ends. She also wears a lime green skirt, with the rest of her skirt divided into cyan and lime green segments. The center of her skirt also has an elongated V-shaped segment, with a small inverted triangular cut above it. Lastly, she wears a pair of magenta ankle socks and honey yellow shoes with white laces and thick and elevated soles, which are magenta, white and honey yellow in color. She has a pink glove.
On Earth, her skin is beige, and her hair is brown. She wears a pink shirt, a light yellow jacket without a hood, blue jeans, a black belt, and white shoes.
P2[]
P2 is a man named Wanderlust. He is a man with light blue skin, in a shade similar with Si’Ha Nova. He has black hair tied in a thick braid that slowly gets thinner at the end, with the braid containing a thick alternating dark blue strand and tied with shiny golden threads. On top of his head is a golden crown with triangles on the surfaces, with two small hanging chains suspended by a small ring in the upper right spikes of the crown. He has dark blue eyebrows and dark indigo lips.
He wears a magenta long-sleeved undershirt with golden lines in the center and on the collar, with a royal purple open long-sleeved outer shirt over it. The outer shirt has lines in a slightly brighter shade, and contains sparkly golden lines on the top and on the right sleeve. The sleeves also end in a shiny golden color. Over his left shoulder is a stiff black half short cape, lined with golden lines and containing layered triangular motifs on the shoulder blade and the end of the cape. It contains a thin golden chain across his neck, and has a dark purple strap that connects it to the outer shirt.
On his waist is a bulky golden segmented belt, with one part in the right side missing and the end forming a slight downward triangular angle. In the center of the belt is the triangular emblem that is used by The Traveler. Hanging by the right side is a loose thin beaded chain connected from the front to the back. He also wears a pair of royal purple shorts with the same stripes from his shirt, with short slits by the sides that have three golden buttons on top of it. Lastly, he wears a pair of black leather formal shoes. His glove is golden yellow, with the same triangular emblem in a shiny golden appearance on the top portion of his hand.
Background[]
The routine goes through four main scenarios, with each scenery belonging to a different coach.
The map begins with a cutscene, (originally taken from the Just Dance 2023 Edition announcement). Is set from an apartament on Earth, it includes five people watching TV. One of them is Sara. On the TV screen, Wanderlust bounces a shiny disco ball, called Discoball.[4] The ball slides off the screen and stops at Sara's feet, its light slowly dying. Sara picks up the ball, and Wanderlust extends his hand out of the screen to Sara. They both place their hands on the ball, and Wanderlust drags Sara into the TV. Discoball can be later seen in all scenarios along with the two coaches.
The title card of the map consists of a sneak peek of the Danceverses, a galaxy of planets themed around the backgrounds shown in the map.
The background during the first verse is, from Dancity, from a laundromat with laundry machines in colors of red and orange. The doors of the washing machines get opened one at a time to the beat of the song. On a transparent window from outside the laundromat, buildings can be seen with their windows being filled with yellow color as if they were sound waves, as well as zeppelins flying in the sky. The laundromat is filled with multiple objects such as green laundry baskets, pink and purple towels, cleaning fluids, green sock puppets. Off to the top right corner is a TV showing the map for Think About Things.
In the first refrain, Liza Friday enters the laundromat to perform with the coaches the same moves as the ones in her choreography. As the refrain goes on, more green sock puppets can be seen coming in and out of the laundry machines.
During the pre-choruses, the two coaches are grabbed into a purple galaxy featuring tiles of previous Just Dance maps, in the following order (alphabetically):
- Boombayah
- Circus
- Dance Monkey
- Finesse (Remix)
- Get Busy
- Jerusalema
- Jopping
- Let’s Groove
- New World
- Sua Cara (Limo Version)
- Sushi
- Temperature
- When The Rain Begins To Fall
- Without Me
- Woman Like Me
The first chorus features the planet Sun Horizon, a beachy background, with inflatable sea animals in the water, fruits such as pineapple, coconut, and watermelon inside swimming rings. The fruits wear different kind of accessories such as pirate hats, eyepatches, and shaped sunglasses. On a dock, P3 of I Like It can be seen dancing the same choreography as the coaches.
The second verse features the planet Winterhaven, an arctic background. The coaches stand on a blocky iceberg that is moving across an arctic ocean, with P2 of Temperature standing on another blocky iceberg behind of them, doing moves from his original choreography. From behind the three coaches, more arctic elements such as tall glaciers and icicles can be seen, as well as curved frozen slides spread across the area. Multiple ice blocks can be seen sliding on the slide. The shiny Discoball can be seen bouncing on top of the ice blocks sliding across the background. During the second refrain, the frozen glaciers have snowlines on top of them, and the slides lead to a vertical loop which the ice blocks also go through.
The second chorus features the planet Cyberfunk, a spacey background of a train station, featuring spacey elements such as spaceship-shaped lighthouses’ lights getting turned on and off and planets from the map’s title card bouncing, as well as casual train station elements such as streetlamps, flat buildings, and a railway platform. From behind the coaches, Lysara can be seen grooving to the coaches' dancing, as well as doing specific moves from her choreography. A high transit train can be seen riding on the station's railway and opening its doors. As the chorus goes on, a giant ginger cat in a ACES suit can be seen floating in the background.
The second refrain of the song features the coaches and the coach of Lysara inside the train from before. Most of the trains’ windows are transparent and therefore it is possible to see the ginger cat from the previous scenery looking at the coaches dancing and the planets bouncing around the train. The train features several Easter eggs referencing previous Just Dance games, including a promotional Just Dance 2015 image of Only You (And You Alone), a picture of Funk, the thumbnail of Just Dance Unlimited’s one-month subscription option, and the covers of Just Dance 2020 and Just Dance 2022.
The bridge of the song features all four scenarios of the laundromat, beach, polar region, and train station backgrounds from before, for four beats respectively. At the end of the bridge, all four backgrounds can be seen for a split second before transitioning onto the next background.
For the final chorus and onwards, the background remains the same. The background is in Floworld, a ancient area during sunset time, filled with dry plants such as purple and orange cosmos, snake plants and cacti. The four coaches from before show up in their order of appearance in the map (Liza shows up first, then P3 of I Like It, then P2 of Temperature, then Lysara). The deserted area also has multiple clones of a specific element from the four backgrounds respectively - the green sock puppets from the laundromat, the flamingo swimming rings from the beach, whales from the polar region, and the cat from the spacey background riding on top of one of the whales.
The map ends with a shadowing figure of a towering Night Swan showing up from surface level, abducting the four recurring coaches. The two main coaches, along with Discoball, take an anxious look at the villainous lady. Wanderlust then opens a portal to Luz Solar, to which Sara and Wanderlust escape with Discoball.
Gold Moves[]
There is 1 Gold Move in this routine, they are right to left consecutively but there are separated pictograms:
Gold Move:
- P2: Put your right hand out, with your left hand on your hip and cross your legs.
- P1: Point both of your hands upwards, with your left being higher.
