"Centuries" by Fall Out Boy is featured on Just Dance VR, Just Dance+, and Just Dance Now. The non-VR version was initially found in the files of the Just Dance service months prior, indicating it was likely intended to also be simultaneously featured on Just Dance 2025 Edition.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The coach is a man named Ulfgar, who bears a visual resemblance to Thor, the Norse god of thunder. He has long orange hair that is tied into a single braid and an orange beard that is tied into 3 long braids. He has blue war paint that passes through his eyes, peeks out of his hairline, and covers his forearms, as well as a blue wolf tattoo that covers his right shoulder, pectoral, and arm. He wears a black fingerless glove with golden plates, a large shoulder pauldron with golden plates on his left arm held up by a leather sash, brown leather shoes, and a pair of brown breeches held up by a brown leather belt with an emerald green cloth tucked on his left and a red cloth tucked on his right. He has a light blue smoke outline.
During the routine, parts of his body glow blue from his lightning manipulation.
Background[]
The routine takes place on Stormpeak, a rocky mountain in a range on Floworld.[3] Ulfgar stands on the flat summit of a mountain with black rocks surrounding it alongside a tall black jagged mountain behind it. It has a bronze wolf emblem embedded into it and runes on the emblem’s circular exterior that glow blue.
During the routine, lightning strikes the background mountain to the beat of the song at times.
Throughout the routine, the sky changes color between the chorus and the verses, being crimson red in the choruses and bridge and sky blue in the verses.
During the second chorus, blue Nordic runes appear on the summit rocks before flashing to the beat with the emblem runes for the rest of the routine.
During the third chorus, Ulfgar produces wolf familiars made of lightning that causes the runic rocks to levitate alongside chunks of debris from the summit before telekinetically moving them during the bridge. In the process, the background mountain starts to sparkle with lightning after being repeatedly struck by lightning throughout the routine. During Gold Move 3, he stomps the stage hard, sending the runic rocks and debris flying away and cracking open the mountain. This causes the inside to glow brightly and reveal that the lightning strikes had been charging up Mjölnir as Ulfgar performs moves to spread the mountain open and fully free the mythical weapon.
Gold Moves[]
There are 4 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Look to the left and perform a full punch to the left with your right hand while simultaneously performing a full kick to the right with your right leg.
Gold Move 2: Spread your arms out.
Gold Move 3: Stomp the ground hard with your right foot and quickly bring your hands down.
Gold Move 4: Tap your chest with your right fist and slowly raise your right arm up.

- Until its release in Just Dance+, Centuries was the only song in the history of Just Dance to be exclusive to Just Dance VR.
- However, it had not been advertised as such, and a fully rendered video file for the routine can be found in the servers of the Just Dance service, implying it was intended to be featured on Just Dance 2025 Edition as well.
- The vocals at the end of the bridge are different from those of the original song.
Routine[]
- The YouTube preview gameplay only shows 23 seconds of footage, thus being the shortest preview uploaded to the official Just Dance YouTube channel.
- Centuries appeared in the walkthrough trailer for Just Dance VR prior to its official announcement.[4]
- When the routine debuted in Just Dance VR, the first three Gold Moves were missing their effects. This was fixed on an unknown date.
- In the Just Dance+ preview gameplay on YouTube and Twitter[5], the song keeps playing after the video transitions from the gameplay to the outro screen.
- On February 18, 2025, the official Just Dance Twitter account posted a picture of the routine with the caption "LOVE Assassin's Creed Valhalla"[6], making a reference to the similarity between the routine and the aforementioned Ubisoft title.
- The Just Dance Now preview uses an invisible pictogram bar just like the previews of Control Response, Move Your Body, Stop This Fire, and Sunlight.
- Centuries is currently the only Just Dance 2025 Edition map that uses the pre-Just Dance 2023 Edition avatar base on Just Dance Now.
- Despite being labeled as Medium in Just Dance VR and Just Dance+, Centuries is labeled as Easy on Just Dance Now.
- On the Chromecast video for Just Dance Now, the end of the picto bar is missing.
- On December 17, 2025, Centuries was accidentally removed on Just Dance Now due to its respective playlist where it was introduced “Gratitude Groove” being removed from the service.
- It was later re-added the same day it was removed.
- The same thing happened with Halloween's Here with the “Haunted Hits” playlist being removed on the same day.
- It was later re-added the same day it was removed.
