"Dagomba" by Sorcerer is featured on Just Dance 2, Just Dance Wii, Just Dance: Greatest Hits/Best Of, Just Dance Now, Just Dance 2016 (as a Ubisoft Connect unlockable), Just Dance Unlimited, Just Dance+, 舞力无限, and 舞力全开：派对. It was also featured on Just Dance 3 and Just Dance 4 as a downloadable track and 舞力全开：活力派, but became unavailable following the shutdown of the Wii Shop Channel on January 30, 2019, the shutdown of the game on February 17, 2020 (for 舞力全开：活力派), and the removal of the routine from the Xbox 360 Marketplace on August 20, 2023 (for Just Dance 3), and on the Wii U following the delisting of Just Dance games from the eShop in late 2019. On the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (for Just Dance 4), the DLC was taken down at an unknown date.

Appearance of the Dancer[]

Original[]

The dancer is a male African tribal dancer named Lightfire. He has greenish skin and wears an African wood mask that has red, orange, and green markings painted on it, along with long brown bristles around it. He also wears two brown wristbands on each arm, brown bands with yellow markings on his forearms, and two brown anklets with long brown bristles around his ankles. He wears an orange glove and has an orange outline.

Remake[]

In the remake, he is brighter and his glove is now yellow.

Background[]

Original[]

The routine takes place in an African savannah at sunset. There are several silhouettes of acacia trees, along with three spears sticking up from the ground. There is also a volcano in the background with smoke emanating from it, which spews lava each time the dancer shoves his arms up. There are also some birds flying around the savannah and leaves fall from the acacia trees. During certain parts of the song, when Lightfire raises his arms up, lightning strikes the spears, causing them to flash white quickly. In the middle of the song, overlapping red and yellow silhouettes appear behind Lightfire as floating blue orbs move around him.

Just Dance 3/Just Dance: Greatest Hits/Best Of (Xbox 360)[]

In the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3 and Just Dance: Greatest Hits/Best Of, the background is more detailed, with the smoke from the volcano being darker and more realistic, the lava having a more fluid-like look and the birds being bigger. The animation of the lightning striking the spears is also different, now showing electricity charging through the spears.

Remake[]

In the remake, the background is based on the one in Just Dance 2, except that the floor is no longer reflective and replaced with a rocky floor matching the background. There are also more spears in the background and grass has also been added, which move in the wind. At certain points during the routine, dark clouds cover the sky. The blue orbs moving around Lightfire in the middle of the song have also been removed.

  • As is the case with the coaches in Katti Kalandal, Dagomba’s skin tone is more bluish-green than white.
    • It was even darker in the Beta version.
  • Dagomba’s background can be seen in Spice Up Your Life.
  • In Take On Me (Mashup), the original Gold Move has been removed.
  • In Just Dance 4, the original pictograms are mixed with new ones in the style of Just Dance 4; from Just Dance Now onwards, instead, every pictogram is in the style of Just Dance 4.
  • In Just Dance 4, the pictograms from Just Dance 2 are in a lower resolution than the remade ones due to the increased size of the pictogram slide.
  • In Just Dance 4 and Just Dance 2014, Dagomba’s avatar has his in-game mouth; in Just Dance Wii U and onwards, instead, his avatar is smiling.
    • In Just Dance 4, the avatar’s nose and the spot on the chin are missing.
  • In Just Dance 2016, the pictograms appear before Lightfire actually performs their moves.
    • This issue was fixed on Just Dance Unlimited.
  • In Episode 5 of Dance Lab, there is a coach who wears a mask similar to Lightfire.
  • In Just Dance Unlimited, Dagomba is labelled as a map from Just Dance 4 rather than Just Dance 2.
    • However, it is still on the Just Dance 2 playlist.
  • On the Spanish-language version of Just Dance+, Lightfire is mistakenly referred to as "Llama" on the coach selection screen.[5]
