Revision as of 09:21, 27 July 2018
"Dame Tu Cosita" by El Chombo featuring Cutty Ranks was initially meant to appear on Just Dance 2019 as part of the main tracklist, but it was taken off of the tracklist for unknown reasons and appeared on Just Dance Unlimited as a exclusive track instead.[3]
Appearance of the Dancer
The dancer is a male frog with a perpetual grin and green skin with a pink lower jaw and belly and pink stripes on his legs. In some parts of the song, his skin turns orange and the pink parts turn yellow.
Background
The main background appears as an animated pond during day and night, with the dancer performing on a lily pad and a variety of animated animals passing by in the background. At some points, the background appears as various shapes moving & spinning, along with various animals too - such as frogs, fish and birds.
Gold Moves
There are 2 Gold Moves in the routine:
Gold Move 1: Point to the right of the screen.
Gold Move 2: Perform a "dab" move by raising your left arm to your face, and your right arm outwards while raising your right leg.
Trivia
- A different menu square can be seen in the Just Dance 2019 E3 songlist trailer.
- In the preview, it can be seen that the Gold Move pictogram has more glow than usual.
- The US preview uses default colors for the pictograms (the arrows are red instead of yellow, and the color does not change to orange with green arrows when the dancer does so). This does not happen in the UK preview though.
- The US preview is the most disliked Just Dance preview, with 4.7K dislikes.[4]
- The moans heard in the game are censored and replaced with quacks.
- However, the moans were not censored in the preview.
- However, when Dame Tu Cosita is chosen in the Just Dance Unlimited menu, the quacks are not present when the music is playing.
- The Just Dance Unlimited album background is different than the background in the Just Dance Unlimited menu square; the background is not tilted like in the square, and the ducks are not visible.
- Dame Tu Cosita marks the first time where a publicly announced song was scrapped from a publicly announced game.
