Dancity is a Danceverse in which its entire surface is a city. This Danceverse houses numerous locations and buildings, such as Scarlet's Palace and Just Dance High School. Other locations explicitly mentioned to be part of Dancity include Luz Solar, Dancity Stadium, Main Drag Northside, and the stage where all On-Stage Mode routines take place.[1]
Amanita is one of Dancity’s supervillains[2], and her arch-nemeses, which consists of a trio of superheroes, move in to save the day whenever she causes trouble. Other characters such as Brezziana, Liza Friday, T-Bam, Gray, Haze, Joy-Ce, and Eva Chase[3] originate within this Danceverse.
Dancity exists as a location in Just Dance VR[4]. In this game, it acts as a "hub world" in which one can meet other players and select a song to play by clicking on one of various screen displays scattered throughout the city. The danceverse can also be seen outside of the player’s view in their apartment.

Scarlet’s Palace[]
Scarlet’s Palace is an establishment owned by Scarlet Gold. Once an unclaimed building, Scarlet Gold makes purchase and redesigns the building as a place where grand, extravagant performances take place and where people from different Danceverses may gather around to witness the spectacle. Scarlet Gold, Fuchsia Blue, Johnny Zomby, Rita Piña, Ann G. Lina and Luke Cypher all perform here.[6]

Just Dance High School[]
Just Dance High School is an educational institution located within Dancity whose mascot is Panda, as seen in One Last Time[7]. Students such as Ari and Grace are associated with this school. It is unknown if all of the referenced maps within thank u, next also take place here.[8]
Additionally, Woodcrown High School is the rival of Just Dance High. One of Woodcrown’s students, Moxie, has won dance battles against Ari.[9]

Luz Solar[]
Luz Solar is a mall located within Dancity. It’s major features include shops selling wide array of products and large jumbotrons used for advertisements.[8]

Dancity University Student Pad[]
The Dancity University Student Pad, as its name implies, is a student hang-out area affiliated with Dancity University. It is currently used by Polo and Ruben.[11] However, it has also been used by Rasputin for his bachelor party.
Main Drag Northside[]
The Main Drag Northside is a street with a wide road and tall metropolitan buildings. It is known as "the beating heart of Dancity."[5]
Knowledge Central[]
A library with large windows and stacked books that turns into an impromptu dancefloor at night.[8]
Dancity Bus[]
A bus station within Dancity that has a map for the Dancity Bus and an ad for a beach location.[5]
Dancity Stadium[]
The Dancity Stadium is a large sports complex located in Dancity, where many events are hosted, which includes football games.[5]

Tiny Toys Emporium[]
The Tiny Toys Emporium is an antique toy shop where we explore the various toys and trinkets available for purchase. In Boy With Luv, the shop is seen during the daytime, whereas, in Seven, it is lit up during the nighttime.[5][13]

Dolores goes Night Driving at a view that overlooks Dancity while reminiscing of her previous relationship.[5]

The Beautiful Lookout is a small lit-up stage that is high above Dancity, resulting in a breathtaking, nighttime view that overlooks the city.
The Roof of Lights[]
The Roof of Lights is another one of Dancity’s lit-up roof tops, though this one takes place on a cliffside that clearly displays the city lights. The rooftop has an urban theme inspired by the 1990’s, aesthetic.

Dance & Record Store[]
The Dance & Record Store is a music store located within Dancity. In I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me), the store is decorated to fit an '80s theme, as seen by the vinyls and posters advertising disco-themed events. In its most recent appearance (Vogue), the physical appearance of the store has been updated to feature a '90s aesthetic. The store now primarily sells CDs, though vinyls are still available for purchase.

- The Lover Coaster theme park is confirmed to exist in Dancity,[43] but the Alphabet Tumble is confirmed to exist in Carnivallium despite being listed on the park map.[44] It was initially unclear whether a coaster exists in both or if this is a continuity error.
- This error was later clarified by former loremaster Aurore Bury, stating that it was only set in Dancity for marketing purposes.[45]
