"Danger! High Voltage" (Alternate Version) is featured on Just Dance 2023 Edition. Officially, this routine is referred to as an alternate routine to Danger! High Voltage (16-Bit Version), but, unlike its counterpart, does not have a caption in the game.

P2 is Polo. His appearance has been kept almost the same, except his color scheme is slightly darker.

Background[]
The routine takes place in Dancity University Student Pad, the background appearance remain the same which includes a plant, chairs, a sofa, a painting of the graffiti from Bum Bum Tam Tam, a one way sign, the artwork of Love Story (Taylor’s Version), the triangle emblem from Season 4: The Traveler, a Rabbid doll, a cutout of the coaches from Dibby Dibby Sound, a poster from Without Me, and a boombox. This time, it is nighttime instead of daytime, along those changes made were the background modified to have light effect including the string lights wrapped around the railings of the upper floor, an orange flag featuring Shinobi Cat is replace by other frames, the robots from Boombayah added in front of the sign which causes the arrow to be covered, and the footage of fire in the arcade cabinet is replaced with this song’s Classic routine.

- P1: Jump with your left arm out and your right at a 90° angle.
- P2: Jump with both arms straight up.
Gold Move 2: Chest bump with the other player. P1 does this from the left and P2 from the right.

- The routine consists of the coaches playing a dance game similar to Just Dance, complete with a song selection menu, score bars, a crown, and sound effects. This makes Danger! High Voltage (Alternate Version), Walking on Sunshine, and Wouldn’t It Be Nice the fifth, sixth, and seventh routines in the series to break the fourth wall, after Futebol Crazy, Sexy And I Know It, You Spin Me Round (Like a Record), and Mr. Blue Sky.
- The coaches and the background are reused from Mood, with minor changes.
- Concept Art for the map reuses the Mood background.
- The map background and the thumbnail for the preview gameplay erroneously display the Fire arcade cabinet used in Mood.
- In the preview gameplay, the screen on the arcade cabinet was frozen.
- The routine can be spotted in the background of Can’t Stop the Feeling! (Danceverse Prince Version).
- Ruben appears in the teaser for Season 1: Lover Coaster as a user of the fictional dating app Dancr.
- His biography reads "Danger! There’ll be sparks between us", referencing the title of Danger! High Voltage.
