Background[]
The background consists of 2D simplistic illustrations of various sports items, pandas playing sports, Chinese food, and representative buildings of the city of Chengdu. It has four sets.
The map starts with a plain orange background and a white and blue checkered path with many pink and dark purple circles behind it moving like waves and which have two basketballs hovering over it. As the song starts, the background slowly moves to the right. Drawings of Chengdu buildings, flames, pandas canoeing, rifle shooting, learning martial arts, playing basketball, and playing badminton also start appearing. Badminton shuttles shoot up to the sky every now and then which leave trails of color.
In the verses, the path changes to white and red squares, and the far background is plain pink. In this set, the buildings have changed, abstract sea waves appear, tennis balls and rackets appear, pandas learning martial arts, gymnastics, running, diving and ribbon dancing. One of them seems to be climbing up the word "CHENGDU" written in big yellow letters.
The chorus background consist of a plain red background and an endless white and purple striped path, which has lines moving on it to simulate high speed. Above it, a volleyball net appears, along with volleyballs, pandas playing volleyball, ladles, flames, chili peppers, and Chinese food. Before the second part of the chorus, the background is filled with ping pong balls, rackets which have polka dotted trails, and pandas playing ping pong. On the second part of the chorus, the far background turns blue, and the path is now white and orange. The space gets filled with abstract clouds, tea pots, guazi plates, bullseyes, archery bows, and pandas practicing archery. More elements later appear, like dancing flags, canoeing paddles with rainbow trails, pandas canoeing, fencing masks and pandas fencing with bamboo sticks instead of épées, and several Chinese food like hotpot, tanghulu, tianshuimian and Zhong dumplings.
In the bridge, the background is a plain dark purple. Hexagonal shapes appear on the sides that change colors to the song’s tempo and are outlined with blue and dark purple strokes. In the center, previous illustrations appear in a radial form. First, tennis balls, rackets and pandas playing tennis appear; then, basket balls and pandas about to score a shot; lastly, fencing masks, épées and pandas fencing with bamboo sticks. The background gets filled with the hexagonal shapes to transition onto the chorus background and end the routine.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Dare to Live is the second 舞力全开-exclusive song whose English title is displayed before the Pinyin one (as opposed to displaying the Pinyin title before the romanized one), after Let’s Party.
- Dare to Live is a collaboration with the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.
- In the map selection menu of Just Dance+, Trady is credited both by her English name and by a romanization of her Chinese name (Cui Di); however, in the information screen, only the latter is used as the artist’s search tag.
- This is in contrast to 舞力无限, where her name is written in all caps accompanied by her Chinese name written in Chinese characters.
Routine[]
- Dare to Live is free to play on 舞力无限. It is the third map new to the service to receive the status after Let’s Party and All You Gotta Do (Is Just Dance) (Alternate), and the fourth map in total to receive the status after the aforementioned and Just Mario.
- The routine can be spotted in the background of Can’t Stop the Feeling! (Danceverse Prince Version), thus being the first map from the Asian series to make a cameo in the main one.
- Generally, it marks the second time an element from an Asian-exclusive map returns in the main series, after the background of Xia Ri Tian Xin appeared in Chantaje (Subway Version).
- The map was ultimately released in Just Dance+, thus becoming the first map from 舞力无限 to return to the main series, as well as the eighth map from an Asian Just Dance spin-off to do so, after Just Mario, Bang Bang Bang, Karaoke Forever - Future Underworld Mix, Leg Song, EZ Do Dance, Rainbow Beats, and Princess.
