The song was initially supposed to appear in the main tracklist of Just Dance 2022, but was scrapped for unknown reasons.[2]
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is a female senior high school student[3] named Dolores. She has dark brunette hair tied in a high-ponytail, with her hair tied by a golden orange hair band and with the ponytail having dark purple highlights. She has purple eyelashes, a bi-colored sharp eyeshadow that is orange on the top and the rest blue, a blue teardrop-shaped jewel below her left eye, and magenta lips.

She also wears a pair of pink waist-high pants with bell-sleeves, held by a blue shiny ringed plastic belt with tiny studs on the upper corners of each ring. A hanging strap is also seen on the left side. Lastly, she wears a pair of light orange platform shoes with white laces and thick soles.
Her accessories includes a pair of golden circular earrings, a thin golden ring-shaped choker, a smaller golden pendant that has a star, a longer golden hanging pendant with an oval-shaped hanging end, a dark denim-colored bangle with a golden buckle on her left forearm, a rose gold wrist band on her left wrist, two golden arm bands on her right arm, black and blue thin bangles on her right forearm and wrist, and a thin red band on her right wrist. Her glove is red and she has a blue faded outline.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Drivers License is the second song by Olivia Rodrigo in the series.
- The official clean version is used, in which “Cause I still f**king love you” is replaced with “But you know I still love you”.
- The song’s codename can be found in the localization files of Just Dance 2022, implying that the song was previously intended to appear in the game at some point in development.[2]
Routine[]
- The coach’s name, Dolores, might be a nod to how the song talks about the pain that comes after a break-up, since Dolores means "sorrows" in Latin.
- Before the release of Just Dance 2023 Edition, the routine originally had different lighting effects, and the car in the outro did not move.
- On September 26, 2022, Just Dance’s official Twitter account replied to a post by IGN reading "Kirby" and depicting a Kirby costume. Just Dance’s reply reads "driver’s license" and depicts the coach with Kirby on her head.
- The routine can be spotted in the background of Can’t Stop the Feeling! (Danceverse Prince Version).
- On February 3, 2023, the official Just Dance Twitter account revealed that Dolores has a best friend who is also a best friend with her ex.[3]
- The classic convertible car that is featured in the song is actually a reused model of the Brubeck Vespid HMI from Ubisoft Montreal’s Watch Dogs series. It is based on the convertible variant that appeared in Watch Dogs 2. The "B" emblem on its grille is the logo for Brubeck Engines, a fictional automotive manufacturer also from the said series.
