Appearance of the Dancers[]
The dancers are teenage girls with looks inspired by fashion from the 1990s.

P1 has black tied up hair with a blue bandanna. She wears a periwinkle transparent shirt, gold necklaces, a bra seen to be light blue, light blue high-waisted shorts, black knee socks, and periwinkle shoes. She also has a black and turquoise flannel sweater tied around her waist. She also wears a soft red glove, specifically wild watermelon.
P2[]
P2 has long black hair tied in a low ponytail. She wears a hot pink tube top, periwinkle torn jeans with black suspenders, and turquoise boots. She also wears a soft blue glove.

Background[]
The background begins with a black backdrop and the song's title. After the intro, a carrier of a delivery truck is present in a still life shot with a time lapse technique. The carriers are red, orange, purple, and blue. This image flips horizontally. At the chorus, there are wooden crates of different colors. They are under some of the lyrics of the song, which in the background are shown to be large with neon color changing outline.
Mashup[]
Fancy has a Mashup with the theme Retro Men which can be unlocked for 1000 Mojo Coins (or 20 Mojo Coins for all old-gen consoles). It features male dancers from older songs dressed in retro fashion.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Fancy is the third song by Iggy Azalea in the series.
- It is also the third song by Charli XCX in the series.
- The Behind the Track interview for Fancy makes this the sixth track where Alkis is wearing accessories related to the routine. The other songs are I Gotta Feeling, Let’s Groove, William Tell Overture, Boys (Summertime Love), and Circus.
- While the alternate routine was added to 舞力无限 in Season 15, Fancy was added to 舞力无限 in Season 17. This marks the sixth time an alternate routine is released before its classic counterpart in 舞力无限, after Hips Don’t Lie, It’s You, Bad Romance, Ghostbusters, and This Is How We Do.
- It is the seventh instance among all online music catalogs in the Just Dance series, after Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go in Just Dance Unlimited and the aforementioned.
- The official clean version of Fancy is used in-game, in which "b**ch", "r*****ed", "f**k", "h*es", "gun", and "drunk" are censored.
- However, the instance of "drunk" in the lyrics "Let’s get drunk on the mini bar" is cited by the ESRB for its rating summary.[2]
- The line "Takin’ all the liquor straight" is also referenced in the summary.
- However, the instance of "drunk" in the lyrics "Let’s get drunk on the mini bar" is cited by the ESRB for its rating summary.[2]
- Charli XCX is credited as Charlie XCX in the Just Dance Unlimited removal announcement.[3]
Classic[]
- Fancy is the fourth map to use real-life visual material in the background, after Gentleman, Mite Mite☆Kochichi, and Happy.
- Fancy is the only track in Just Dance 2016 whose album coach shows only the coaches’ torsos instead of their full bodies.
- It was updated on Just Dance Unlimited on December 15, 2019, and is now showing their full bodies.
- Before the routine was revealed, the coaches were seen on several ads for Just Dance 2016.
- One of the moves in the routine similarly uses a dance move known as the Nae Nae, created by the hip-hop group We Are Toonz for their song "Drop That NaeNae", and later popularized by Silentó’s Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae), which coincidentally became a part of the track list of Just Dance 2017.
- P1 resembles a girl in the music video, P2 resembles Iggy Azalea, and P3 resembles Charli XCX.
- In the Just Dance Now files, some placeholder pictograms can be found. They show the coaches with partially grayed out clothes; they are in front of a different background, and "FANCY" is written in a different font.
- The files also show a Beta pictogram, which also appears in promotional material.
- Fancy was made free to play in 舞力无限 on March 8, 2023 to celebrate Women’s Day.[4]
Mashup[]
- This is the first Mashup to reuse a theme (Retro from Ain’t No Mountain High Enough), but exclude it to one gender.
- Superstition and That’s the Way (I Like It) appear in both Mashups.
