  • An unfinished cover for Nintendo Switch can be found in a game store website.[1] Compared to the final cover, it has been zoomed in.
    • Also, on the bottom right corner of the cover, "*NOT FINAL ARTWORK" can be read, indicating that the cover was still in progress.
      • Additionally, there is a early cover found in the Ubisoft Forward stream, where the logo has a purple outline and the coaches are in slightly different poses.

Build a B****

  • The routine originally had some slightly different moves.[2]

Buttons

  • Onyx can be seen in unused versions of the icon for the Enchanting Dances and Marathon playlists, despite Buttons not appearing in any of the in-game playlists. This could imply that the routine was meant to be part of the main offline tracklist, but was later moved to only be playable with an internet connection.

Call on Me

  • A song with the codename "CallOnMe" can be found in the game files.[3]

Chandelier

  • In concept art, the coach can be seen with the traditional white skin, along with other outfits.

  • Beta menu assets can found in Just Dance 2022’s servers.

  • Early menu assets can be found in the Just Dance Unlimited servers, where the coaches had slightly darker colors.
    • Besides, the map background and the cover used a different background.

    • Additionally, the coach’s face was made slightly more visible in the final game.
  • An unedited album coach can be found in the game files.

Girl Like Me (Extreme Version)

  • The avatar was different during production, as its beret was greenish instead of grey and its hair was fuchsia instead of pink.
    • A golden version of this Beta avatar also exists.

Good 4 U

  • In the Just Dance Unlimited servers, there is an early version of the map that uses 20 Beta pictograms and a differently-designed pictogram for Gold Move 1.
    • Besides, Gold Move 2 consisted of the final move of the choreography (as opposed to the final routine, where Gold Move 2 takes place after the line "Like a damn sociopath").
  • In the Just Dance Unlimited servers, there is a beta coach selection image where the coach’s left hand is positioned differently.

  • On the menu and the World Dance Floor, P2 appears with a different color scheme.

Malibu

  • Malibu by Kim Petras was planned to be featured in the main tracklist, but it was removed for unknown reasons. The avatars for the song were uploaded to the Just Dance Unlimited servers the same day as all the Just Dance 2022 avatars.
    • Oddly, Malibu is the only Just Dance 2022 song to lack its golden avatar, suggesting that the song was scrapped early in development.
    • It was ultimately released in Just Dance Unlimited as part of Season 2: Surreal.

Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels

  • According to the Behind-the-Scenes video, Todrick Hall’s right glove was originally purple, but it was ultimately replaced by another pink one because "he cut little holes in it so he could give players both gloves".[7]

Waterval

  • Two versions of the routine were made, one with P2 as a male and the other with P2 as a female. This was due to K3 member Klaasje leaving the group and the reality show "K2 Zoekt K3" (K2 Searches K3), where both males and females competed to become the new member of K3.
    • When the new member was revealed to be Julia Boschman, the female version of Waterval’s routine ended up being used.
    • Waterval's early female version had the middle coach with pink hair, as a placeholder for the hair color of the winner.
  • The video file for the male routine can still be found in Just Dance Unlimited’s servers.

You Can Dance

  • The coach has a different color scheme in concept art for Just Dance 2022.
  • In the previews, the coach’s face is not visible at all, and the pictograms appear in default colors.
