Ubisoft Connect (formerly known as Uplay and Ubisoft Club) is a feature seen in every Just Dance game since Just Dance 3. Its name changed to Ubisoft Club during the lifetime of Just Dance 2017 and merged with the Uplay PC client to be known as Ubisoft Connect during the lifetime of Just Dance 2021.
In the context of the Just Dance series, Ubisoft Connect is primarily utilized to reward players with in-game content for playing with a Ubisoft Connect account linked. The Wii notably lacks Ubisoft Connect compatibility, and as a result, the Wii versions of certain Just Dance games often require these rewards to instead be purchased with Mojo or unlocked through other means. Additionally, the unlockable themes are exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360. Some Just Dance themed rewards can also be unlocked for other games.
Ubisoft Connect works much like in-game achievements and trophies on consoles. A player performs certain in-game challenges and is awarded points when leveled up to spend on various unlockables for any game in the Ubisoft library.
In the Just Dance series, the player can unlock special avatars, skins and even extra routines for use in the desired game.
These rewards are granted as a one-time bonus for linking a Ubisoft Connect account to the game.

Since all 7th-gen online services have been shut off, access to the Ubisoft Connect rewards have been cut off. Points will still be earned but cannot be used.
However, one can still unlock the rewards on the Ubisoft Connect website but they cannot be used in game.
