Trivia[]
General[]
- Waterval is the fourth Dutch-language song in the series.
- Waterval is the third song by K3 in the series.
- It is also the first appearance by K3 to not include Klaasje Meijer, who departed from the group in 2021.
- The song has been edited in-game, where the second part of the second chorus was re-used in the first chorus, and the bridge is shortened. As both of the aforementioned sections comprise 8 measure each, this means the map has the same length as the commercial release of the song.
- Waterval’s codename is a reference to the island of Langkawi.
- The newsfeed for Get On The Fire Truck and Waterval on Just Dance Now uses their codenames for the titles of the songs instead of the actual song titles.
Routine[]
- Waterval is the fourteenth routine to feature Gold Moves that appear consecutively, after I Want You Back, Jump, Proud Mary, Should I Stay or Should I Go, Sympathy For The Devil, When I Grow Up, Funplex (CSS Remix) (in Just Dance 3), Fancy, William Tell Overture, This Is How We Do (Fanmade), Sax, and Level Up.
- Two versions of the routine were made, one with P2 as a male and the other with P2 as a female. This was due to K3 member Klaasje leaving the group and the reality show "K2 Zoekt K3" (K2 Searches for K3), where both male and female contestants competed to become the new member of K3.
- When the new member was revealed to be Julia Boschman, the all-female version of Waterval’s routine was used.
- The video file for the scrapped routine featuring the male coach can still be found in Just Dance Unlimited’s servers. In this Beta version, P3’s glove is fuchsia instead of ochre yellow.
- Eduardo Bañuelos, the performer of the unused male coach, uploaded behind-the-scenes footage of his appearance to his Instagram account, before taking it down after a few days.[3]
