Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is Liza Friday, who resembles Katy Perry in the official music video. She has black hair in a braid with purple accents and a blue scrunchie, along with two long loose strands at the side of her hair. She wears an oversized ruby red button-up shirt with long sleeves, small light orange buttons, and orange elbow pads. She also has orange socks with a blue and teal argyle pattern and orange sneakers with dark orange accents, a sunset orange glove, white laces, and white soles. She accessorizes with a few small orange bracelets and thin black rectangular glasses.
At the saxophone solo after the bridge, her appearance changes. She is seen with fully purple hair worn down. She wears a cropped magenta sweater worn off one shoulder, exposing a black and pink checkered brassiere beneath. She also wears a light blue denim skirt. Her glasses and socks stay the same, but the socks are now worn with red stiletto heels. She accessorizes with a black choker necklace, magenta earrings, and various blue bracelets. In both iterations of her costume, her golden yellow glove and turquoise glowing outline remain the same.
Background[]
The routine takes place in a dark nightclub setting where strings of colorful fairy lights hang from the ceiling and spotlights are seen pulsating in the back. There is some confetti scattered on the floor. There is a large crowd of people dancing behind the coach, some of which come into the foreground as the camera moves. For the most part, they are in a monochromatic purple color scheme. Past Just Dance coaches who appear as a part of the crowd are in a monochromatic orange color scheme. Whenever a dancer from a past Just Dance routine dances along with the coach, the coach takes on its normal color scheme.
The routine begins with the words "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" appearing. Liza and The Bride can be seen speaking. The Bride motivates her to go into the center of the dance floor and dances along with her as a part of the crowd. When the first verse ends, The Bride shows Liza how to dance, starting Hot N Cold’s solo part.
Before the end of the first pre-chorus, Mister Overload is entering the background, casually enjoying the party with a drink on his hand, impressed by the dancing of The Bride. At the second half of the chorus, Rasputin enters the background doing a choreography that resembles the choreography from the end of his routine, which impresses The Bride. Mister Overload hesitates to tap The Bride’s shoulder, but does not get to do so before she exits the party with Rasputin. During the post-chorus, the coach of I Kissed a Girl enters the background while Mister Overload exits.
The pre-chorus ends with Nefertari entering the background and staying there for the whole verse. After the second verse is over, the coach of California Gurls can be seen waving at Liza and going right behind her to perform her own solo for the second pre-chorus. The Traveler can also be seen for a short cameo during the second pre-chorus.
During the second chorus, the coaches of I Kissed a Girl, Nefertari, and The Bride join Liza and California Gurls who was already present at the background. The four coaches and the rest of the crowd, all do the same choreography the coach performs. The Bride also got a fake beard, like the one Rasputin has, for her appearance during this chorus. The three coaches exit the background for the second post-chorus, leaving Liza, I Kissed a Girl, and the rest of the crowd. The post-chorus ends with I Kissed a Girl sliding off the background, starting the bridge.
During the bridge, the coach of Firework enters the party and Liza starts to do the same choreography as Firework, with the whole crowd looking at the two. After the first time, "T.G.I.F" is sung, the coach of Firework spins to the crowd, getting the whole crowd to do the same choreography as the main coach.
In the saxophone solo, the coach of Mr. Saxobeat can be seen "playing" the saxophone solo with the rest of the crowd dancing to it. The background during the whole saxophone solo is in different shades of blue, and so the crowd is also in a monochromatic color of blue.
The saxophone solo ends with the coach of Mr. Saxobeat leaving and all the background dancers from before joining Liza to dance the choreography along with her and with the crowd for the final chorus. The coaches enter the background in pairs - one coach from the left and one coach from the right. The pairs of coaches, enter the background with a spin to their placement and then turn around to clear the spot for the next pair (with the exception of the last pair, who enter behind the other pairs). The pairs who join the final chorus are (in order) Mister Overload and the panda from Paca Dance, I Kissed a Girl and Firework, California Gurls and Nefertari, Swish Swish (P1) and The Bride (without the beard), and Mr. Saxobeat and Rasputin.
The routine ends with all eleven coaches doing the Floss dance from Swish Swish and the crowd cheering for them from behind. After the song ends, the whole crowd and ten featured dancers cheer and applaud for Liza.

- Liza Friday is the first coach in the Just Dance series to have more than one official name, as well as the only one to have a different name depending on the game they appear in.
- In a promotional Twitter post for Just Dance 2022, C1 is referred to as Kery Party, which is a wordplay on Katy Perry’s name and the theme of the map; C2, instead, is nicknamed Pure Party.[8] Kery Party is also an anagram of Katy Perry’s name.
- However, as her avatar in Just Dance is shown, she is now referred to as Liza Friday.
- Liza is inspired by Katy Perry’s character, Kathy Beth Terry, who appeared in the music video for the song.
