Name[]

  • In the localization files for the Just Dance 2016 demo, references about Dance Quests requiring a "Just Dance VIP subscription" can be found, meaning that Just Dance Unlimited was originally going to be named "Just Dance VIP".[1]

Dance Quest[]

  • The Origami quest was originally named Comics quest; this is evidenced by an article concerning the April 2016 content of Just Dance Unlimited, which was posted on Just Dance’s official website.
    • It was later released in June 2017.

Seasons[]

  • According to an announcement posted to Just Dance’s official Twitter account, Season 3: Festival! was planned to begin in June 2021, but it was ultimately moved to July.[2] The COVID-19 pandemic was cited as the cause behind this delay.
  • Season 2: Surreal was intended to start in May 2022, as seen in the initial seasons announcement for Just Dance 2022[3]; however, its start was ultimately delayed to June 2.

Graphics[]

  • As seen at E3 2015, the songs were not listed in alphabetical order.
  • In a Beta screenshot, it can be seen that the service was supposed to have a "Favorites" section, similar to Just Dance Now. This was later added in Just Dance 2017.
    • The playlist in the picture also shows Aserejé (The Ketchup Song), which was only released one month after the game was launched in the market (on November 25, 2015).
  • Dark Horse was seen in the Katy Perry playlist, despite not being featured in it in the final version.
    • It was later released on October 29, 2020, 5 years after the release of Just Dance Unlimited.
  • A trailer was found on the Just Dance Unlimited servers announcing the ABBA: You Can Dance routines but it was never released on Just Dance TV.[4]

Songs and Routines[]

Ain’t My Fault[]

  • A beta version of the routine is used for some consoles. There are no zooms during the chorus, there are flashing squares on the floor, there aren't any circles that flashed to the beat during the pre-choruses, and the coach keeps her alternate color scheme at the end of the routine.

All The Stars[]

  • Three Beta video files can be found in the Just Dance Unlimited servers.
    • In the first one, the coach has not been edited and the background is completely absent.
    • In the second one, the coach’s color scheme is completely different: her hair is brownish instead of black, her makeup is red instead of dark purple, her dress is violet instead of green, her body tattoos are lighter, and her glow is thinner and with no additionally effects. Besides, her palette did not change throughout the song, and mockup pictures were used as the background.
    • In the third one, the coach’s color scheme is slightly darker and her glow has more visible flowing particles. The background also has animations (albeit with minor differences from the final one) until the line "I hate people that feel entitled"; the background used in that part only applies animations on some elements and, from that point onwards, mockups are used again with the addition of an early coach design.
  • Early pictograms with default colors can be found in the servers.
    • There are also two beta pictograms and an unused Gold Move, which consisted of the first move of each verse.

Am I Wrong[]

  • Am I Wrong’s coach was originally going to have a blue outline instead of a yellow one, as seen on the song's square and coach selection image.
  • In a video that was found in the Autodance server, we can see that the background wasn't finished yet, having only a white screen for the background.

Aserejé (The Ketchup Song)[]

    • Some animations are missing.
    • The cutscene where the coach rides a pink coupé with a chihuahua sitting on her left is not featured; nevertheless, the car and the barking chihuahua can still be heard.
