==Background== |
==Background== |
||
− | === |
+ | ===Original=== |
− | + | The dance takes place in a Chinese city at nighttime. During the pre-chorus, many high buildings are shown behind the dancer. At the chorus, many male and female silhouettes are dancing like the dancer. Some of these silhouettes are coaches from past games. Red neon signboards with Chinese characters appear at some points in the song.<gallery widths="318" bordercolor="transparent" position="center" spacing="small" hideaddbutton="true"> |

⚫ | |||
− | The template for the other Extreme routines in 2014 is used, which is an arrangement of quadrilateral walls and platforms. They mainly flash red, purple, and gray, and silhouettes of the dancer appear on occasion in those colors. |

+ | **It is his fourth song in the franchise, including International Love, Look at Me Now, and Run It! (hh). |
+ | *While the alternate routine was added to jduc in Season 22, Fine China was added to jduc in Season 31. This marks the ninth time an alternate routine is released before its classic counterpart in jduc, after Hips Don’t Lie, It’s You, Bad Romance, Ghostbusters, This Is How We Do, Fancy, Starships, and I Will Survive. |

||
⚫ | |||
+ | **The same thing happened on plus, with the alternate being added as a surprise drop during Season 2: Y2K, while the Classic is not yet on the service. |

− | *In jdu, all of the pictograms have been remade and some have been added. |

Latest revision as of 23:52, 18 April 2024
"Fine China" by Chris Brown is featured on Just Dance 2014, Just Dance Unlimited, Just Dance Now (for players who subscribed before April 9, 2024), and 舞力无限. The song can be also found in the Just Dance+ files.
The song also has an Extreme routine and a Battle against Gentleman.
Appearance of the Dancer
The dancer is a man with short black hair in a dark purple beret. He wears a sky blue long-sleeve shirt under a dark purple vest with dark red suspender-like braces, dark purple pants, a red oxide glove, and a pair of dark red loafers.
Background
Original
The dance takes place in a Chinese city at nighttime. During the pre-chorus, many high buildings are shown behind the dancer. At the chorus, many male and female silhouettes are dancing like the dancer. Some of these silhouettes are coaches from past games. Red neon signboards with Chinese characters appear at some points in the song.
舞力无限
The background remains almost the same as with the original version. However, all of the Chinese texts are changed from red to blue.
Mashup
Fine China has a Mashup that can be opened with 5 Mojocoins on the Wii, but through Ubisoft Club on all other consoles.

Trivia
General
- Fine China is the first song by Chris Brown in the main series.
- It is his fourth song in the franchise, including International Love, Look at Me Now, and Run It! (The Hip Hop Dance Experience).
- While the alternate routine was added to 舞力无限 in Season 22, Fine China was added to 舞力无限 in Season 31. This marks the ninth time an alternate routine is released before its classic counterpart in 舞力无限, after Hips Don’t Lie, It’s You, Bad Romance, Ghostbusters, This Is How We Do, Fancy, Starships, and I Will Survive.
- It is the eleventh instance among all online music catalogs in the Just Dance series, after Want To Want Me and Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go in Just Dance Unlimited and the aforementioned.
- The same thing happened on Just Dance+, with the alternate being added as a surprise drop during Season 2: Y2K, while the Classic is not yet on the service.
- Fine China is the second instance on Just Dance+ after Mood.
- There are some mistakes in the lyrics.
- "Let’s skip the basics" is misinterpreted as "Let’s skip the physics".
- "You’re putting on" is misinterpreted as "You’re good enough".
- "A collectible" is misinterpreted as "Uncollectable".
Classic
- Since You Spin Me Round (Like a Record), Fine China was the first post-Just Dance 3 map whose pictograms have not received any major edits in Just Dance Unlimited or any later appearance.
- However, they have been positioned more downwards, thus not being completely unedited.
- The simplified Chinese texts in the background translate to the lyrics in the chorus of the song.
- In 舞力无限, the color of this text has been changed from red to light blue. This also applies to the menu assets. Additionally, "我会慷慨" (I’ll be generous) is changed to "我的最爱" (My favorite), and "我不危险" (I’m not dangerous) is changed to "你属于我" (You’re mine).
- The Chinese texts in the album background is slightly more shifted down than the one in the menu square.
- During parts of the routine, portions of the coach are accidentally cut out.
- This does not happen the first time he appears in the Mashup.
- According to early versions of the Just Dance Now servers, some files of the routine were meant to be updated. This can be seen in the "JDVersion" string, which reads "2015" instead of "5" (the "JDVersion" number used for Just Dance 2014).[3]
- The coach appears in the background for Uptown Funk.
- Fine China was supposed to be released on Just Dance Unlimited on May 9, 2019.[2] However, it was not added on that date and was instead postponed to July 4, 2019.
- The score tracking for camera consoles has been entirely remade in Just Dance Unlimited, altering the number of counted moves.[5]
- Fine China was featured in the Just Dance Now playlist "The Best of 2000s!", despite the song being released in 2013.
- The 舞力无限 cover is identical to the score card cover, except that it is compressed vertically to fit the standard size of covers and the background details are clearer.
Mashup
- The Mashup only features coaches from Just Dance 4 and Just Dance 2014.
- On the Wii version, no moves are counted during Love Boat’s third appearance.
