"Give That Wolf A Banana" by Subwoolfer is featured on Just Dance+.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The routine is performed by a pair of similarly-dressed masked dancers, who represent WackyGroove. Their polygonal masks are based on animals, with their designs similar to those worn by Subwoolfer themselves. Both have faded orange outlines. They are humans who for who accidentally moved to the Danceverses from Earth and are living in WackyGroove while looking for a way to return to Earth while keeping their identities hidden.[1]
P1[]
P1 is DeerStan, a man who wears a polygonal mask designed after Rudolf.[2] The mask is orange, with sharp ears, purple polygonal antlers, two triangular markings representing nostrils, and black sharp sunglasses. He wears a dark blue tuxedo and slacks, with a dark blue long necktie and pink undershirt. He also wears a pair of pink sneakers with white laces and soles and a pink glove, specifically rich lilac.
P2[]
P2 is PandaFan, a man who wears a polygonal mask designed after Panda. The mask is white, with black short ears, a black nose spot, and black circular sunglasses. He wears a dark blue tuxedo and slacks, with a dark blue long necktie and yellow undershirt. He also wears a pair of yellow sneakers with white laces and soles and a yellow glove, specifically old gold.
Background[]
The routine takes place in the same stadium as the other Season 2: Showdown routines. The stage is lit up purple and throughout the routine, a crowd can be heard cheering.
In the beginning, 3D lit-up pyramids and prisms and a runway showing magenta and light blue lines leading up to a circular LED pillar with floating LED screens and oval-shaped floating spectator stands can be seen in the background as a spotlight shines on WackyGroove before disappearing, mimicking a UFO's beam. During the first verse, the circular stage's LED floor lights up in sync with the song and the background. During the first pre-chorus, the pillar lights up with a triangular tunnel visible on it before bananas and the word "banana" shows up on it. During the first chorus, neon versions of the coaches' heads are projected by laser beams in the background as the triangular tunnel pulses and flashes to the beat.
During the second verse, neon projections of bananas and dolphins can be seen jumping over the runway as it, the stage, the pyramids, and prisms light up to a banana color. As the verse progresses, the stage moves towards the pillar before it projects a diamond tunnel with Llama cameoing as WackyGroove’s DJ performing the song offscreen (referencing Subwoolfer’s unofficial third member DJ Astronaut). During the line "Someone give that wolf a banana" just before the second chorus, neon bananas briefly rain down on the stage before transitioning to circular tunnels that flow and pulse to the beat of the song.
During the bridge, the stage starts rising as the floating LED screens show the neon projections of the coaches alongside banana yellow lines as they flash to the beat of the song until the stage reaches the top of the pillar.
During the final pre-chorus, the entire set lights up in a light purple hue to the beat of the song before repeating its projections from the first chorus in the final chorus.
During the final verse, all of the lights go out as the stage slowly descends back to the ground as the spotlight shines on the coaches again.
Gold Moves[]
There are 3 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Cross your fists down as you stand up straight.
Gold Move 2: Quickly raise your hands up.
Gold Move 3: Punch the air with your right hand and stomp with your raised right leg twice at the same time.

Trivia[]
General[]
- The following mistakes can be noticed in the lyrics:
- "Want your grandma" is misspelled as "Want you grandma".
- In the bridge, the last syllable of the word "banana" has an additional H at the end.
- The lyrics of the song are referenced in PandaFan’s avatar quote, which is "I always have bananas in my pocket. You never know what’s next!".
- The lyrics are also referenced in the Twitter GIF representing WackyGroove in the voting contest between the Danceverses of Season 2: Showdown, whose caption reads "don’t forget to bring a banana if you’re voting for them x".[3]
Routine[]
- Give That Wolf A Banana was the first map in the history of Just Dance to be created entirely by Just Dance developer and community member Redouane "Redoo" Tadrist.[4]
- According to the video "Just Dance 2023 Edition: From Dancer to Developer - Interview with Redoo", his favorite details to make included the coaches’ masks, the polygonal bananas floating in the second verse, and Llama’s cameo.
- In the title card, WackyGroove, DeerStan, and PandaFan are misspelt as "Wacky Groove", "Deer Stan", and "Panda Fan", respectively.
- The coaches’ masks reference Rudolf and Panda.
- Coincidentally, their shirts, gloves, and shoes have the same colors as the tank tops worn by Rudolf and Panda in Mini Yo School.
- Euphoria, Give That Wolf A Banana, and SloMo use the same crowd sound effect.
- Llama’s cameo is recycled from Watch Out for This (Bumaye).
- His performance of the song behind his DJ set is a reference to Subwoolfer’s unofficial third member DJ Astronaut.
- On promotional materials, PandaFan is referred to as "Mr Panda".[5][6]
- In the voting contest between the Danceverses of Season 2: Showdown, the Twitter GIF for WackyGroove says the coaches are humans who entered the Just Dance Universe by accident and befriended a werewolf by giving them a banana, but they do not know how to get back home.[3]
- The GIF also says Rudolf and Panda are their idols.
- DeerStan and PandaFan both return as coaches in Calabria 2007.
