"Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani is featured on Just Dance+ and Just Dance VR.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is Moxie. She is a woman with black eyebrows, eyeliner, and pink lipstick. She has blonde hair with a blue streak in the front and the end of her hair fades to pink. She also wears a red, black, and gold shako hat with a purple feather on top.
Her outfit consists of a sky blue denim tank top and pants with letters printed on them. She also wears red plaid sleeves with a kilt of the same design. Lastly, she wears a golden epaulet, black boots, and a gold glove.
Background[]
The background takes place at Woodcrown High School.
The background is in a hallway of lockers, blue, green, purple, and yellow balloons, and decorations of the school’s mascot Rudolf, whenever the verse begins the hallway becomes dark with a disco ball above Moxie and the floor and pillars glow and change colors per beat. In said hallway is a picture of Sara on a skateboard and a poster of P1 and Swaggy Carrot from PoPiPo.
From the third chorus onwards, we are headed to the outside of the school with the school name written on the exterior in all caps, flags of Rudolf and lastly a Rudolf decal on the ground which Moxie dances on top of.
Throughout the song, there are backup dancers following Moxie around the school. During the bridge, some of the backup dancers turn into Rudolf.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine.
Gold Move 1: Shake your right leg while swinging your right fist in the air.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Hollaback Girl is the third song by Gwen Stefani in the series.
- It would have been the fourth one if The Sweet Escape had been released.
- It is also the first song by Gwen Stefani to be released on a paid subscription service.
- Hollaback Girl is the first Just Dance+ exclusive song in the history of the service to come from the 2000s.
- Counting Just Dance Unlimited, Hollaback Girl is the third exclusive song to be from the 2000s, after The Way I Are and Princess (internationally).
- Hollaback Girl references and interpolates Another One Bites the Dust in the second verse.
- The radio edit, which replaces the word "s**t" with a whistle (first line only) and/or "uhh" and/or muted, is used in-game.
- In addition, during the bridge, the word "woo-ooh" is also heard replacing the same censored word.
Routine[]
- The background and Moxie’s outfit are loosely based on the official music video.
- According to the official Just Dance social media accounts, Moxie goes to Woodcrown High School, the rival of Just Dance High School, and has won dance battles against Ari.[3]
- Dougie (as a cutout behind the right door at the beginning), Without Me (as a poster behind the left door at the beginning), Sara (on a skateboard in the hallway), P1 and Swaggy Carrot from PoPiPo (as a poster in the hallway), and Rudolph (as the school mascot) all make cameo appearances in the map.
- In the video file, the camera effects stop working on the background a few seconds before the end of the video, resulting in Moxie’s extraction faintly moving around the screen despite the background being motionless.
- In the promotional video and banners for Season 2: Y2K, the streak in Moxie’s hair is purple instead of blue.
- Additionally, according to the concept art, Moxie was supposed to have a pink belly button piercing that is not included in the final costume.
- According to costume designer Benjamin Jouffret, the fringes on Moxie’s shoulder pad were originally longer, but they had to be cut out by ten centimeters on the shooting day because they always covered Céline Baron’s face during her performance.[4]
