Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is a female magician named Mirage. She has black and white hair, shaped like a hat. She wears a white bodice with a black cape. She wears black fishnets and black boots.
Background[]
The routine is filled with various cubes that have their front and back walls missing. They have a pattern with an eye in the middle. Their borders glow blue and orange to the beat. In the beginning, there are 2 cubes that spin to reveal the title card and Mirage inside them. The cube mirage is standing on does not have a top or bottom wall, and instead Mirage is standing on top of a different cube as a platform. The cube then flies up and off-camera.
In the first chorus, The lights then change to reveal a ton of cubes with blue lighting spinning around in a void. In the verses, Mirage is surrounded by 2 of the cubes that have the eye on their design glowing blue.
In the second and third chorus, the cubes from the verses slide down and the background is the same as the first chorus, but now Mirage is in some of the cubes. The cubes that she are in have orange lighting instead of blue. The lighting flickers out. In the post choruses, There is a grid wall, with more of the cubes. There are open spaces that the cubes slide around in. Some are slightly popped out. On the move done in the line "Do you think about it night and day?", the cubes move to match Mirage's movements.
In the bridge, the camera changes to a higher angle, showing a circular grid wall with the same patterns as the cube. Mirage stands on an elevating cube that gets smaller by leaving the edge of it every time the synth plays, until the final part of the instrumental where Mirage stands at the top as the texture of the wall follows her spinning movement. In the final chorus, the patterns from the wall start moving around within themselves as spotlights shine on them.
The ending has the same cube from the intro come back down where she is. The platform Mirage stands on is now smaller too. The cube spins and once the walls are visible again, she is gone.

- Houdini and Love Again are the tenth and eleventh songs by Dua Lipa in the series.
- Among the first batch of revealed songs of Just Dance 2026 Edition, the teasers for Houdini and Hung Up were posted on YouTube one day before the others by Just Dance content creators in collaboration with Ubisoft.
- Additionally, both teasers were not posted by the official Just Dance account along with the others the next day. Instead, they were released four days later, on August 5th, 2025.
- Houdini is the eighth song in the series which the title refers to a real person (in this case, the magician Harry Houdini). It is preceded by Rasputin, Barbra Streisand, Moves Like Jagger, Alfonso Signorini (Eroe Nazionale), John Wayne, John Cena, and Whitney.
- The lyrics during the chorus do not highlight the backing vocals, however they do in the extreme.
- During the second verse, the word "practice" is spelled as "practise", the British spelling of the word.
