"If You Wanna Party" by The Just Dancers is featured on Just Dance 2023 Edition, 舞力无限, and Just Dance Now. Along with Walking on Sunshine, it was playable for free on the Just Dance service without purchasing the Just Dance 2023 Edition song pack, from early April 2023 to October 23rd 2023.
A Mandarin version of the song by The Just Dance Band, titled "'舞力派对 (Wu Li Pai Dui)", is also featured on 舞力无限, and was featured on the 舞力全开 demo during late December of 2023 and early January of 2024.
The song has a VIP Version available on Just Dance 2024 Edition as a Brazilian exclusive.

The second verse includes:
During the first chorus, P3 of I Like It and Lysara fade from behind the five coaches and perform the same choreography as the five coaches do. The same occurs during the second chorus but with Liza Friday and P2 of Temperature.
During Jack Rose’s rap verse, the tiles get completely cleared from the previous maps and projects Jack Rose on a large scale. The tiles change their colors to red and the crowd’s monochromatic color changes from blue to red as well.
The final chorus includes all four coaches freed from Night Swan’s slavery along with the following performing the choreos from their respective routines (alphabetically):
When the routine ends, Wanderlust opens a portal to the real world for Sara to walk through as everyone waves goodbye. The tiles then show her returning to her living room in her real-life color scheme, where she makes a heart with her hands to say goodbye.

Gold Move 2: Similar to Gold Move 1, but your right arm goes straight up.

Trivia[]
General[]
- If You Wanna Party is the first song by The Just Dancers in the series.
- The Mandarin version is the sixth song by The Just Dance Band in the series, and the third to be a Chinese exclusive.
- If You Wanna Party is the only song by Ubisoft in Just Dance 2023 Edition.
- Being officially released on November 18, 2022, If You Wanna Party is the most recent song in the main track list of Just Dance 2023 Edition.
- Since the Chinese-language version of the song was released in 舞力无限 one year after its English counterpart, If You Wanna Party marks the second time a song is released on 舞力无限 more than once, after Let It Go.
- This also makes If You Wanna Party the second Ubisoft Original to have other versions in different languages, after All You Gotta Do (Is Just Dance), as well as the tenth song to have its audio altered in later appearances, after Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit of Monika) and Moving on Up in Just Dance: Summer Party, I Like to Move It, Jump in the Line, U Can’t Touch This, and Who Let the Dogs Out? from Just Dance 3 onwards, Let It Go in 舞力全开2015, Barbra Streisand in Just Dance Unlimited, and All You Gotta Do (Is Just Dance) in 舞力无限.
- However, unlike with All You Gotta Do (Is Just Dance), the Chinese version of If You Wanna Party retains some vocals from its original counterpart.
- The lyrics of If You Wanna Party have the following references:
- The line "Any planet you’re on" references the Danceverses and is aptly sung by Wanderlust, who has the ability of traveling through dimensions.
- The line "Get down with your crown" references Wanderlust, who wears a crown.
- The line "Dancing like a disco ball" references Discoball, where the routine takes place.
- The line "Check the new style" likely references the visual and technical overhaul that characterizes Just Dance 2023 Edition.
- The line "I’m checkin’ my mic" is sung by Jack Rose, who is holding a microphone.
- During the bridge, the song makes reference to three songs that have appeared in past Just Dance games: Side to Side, Peanut Butter Jelly, and Mashed Potato Time.
- The Ubisoft Forward segment and early promotional material for Just Dance 2023 Edition use a demo version of the song.[2]
- This demo is also heard in the video "Behind The Scenes of a Just Dance Casting!".[3]
- If You Wanna Party is heard in every official behind-the-scenes video for Just Dance 2023 Edition, as well as in every official video that promotes the latest weekly releases in Just Dance+.
- In the thumbnail for the 舞力无限 preview gameplay, the song title is spelled in a different font.
- An instrumental version of If You Wanna Party is heard in the Chinese, Spanish and Hebrew adverts for the brand collaboration between Just Dance and McDonald’s.[4][5][6]
- In the YouTube short "Favourite Things with #OlympicEsportsSeries Finalists", If You Wanna Party was chosen by contestants Diegho San, Dina Morisset, and Elsie Fang as their favorite song from the competition.[7]
- However, the song was not played during the competition, as the third place playoff did not occur and the final did not need a tiebreaker.
- A brief clip of Brezziana’s section in If You Wanna Party can be seen in an advert for EE Game.[8]
Routine[]
- If You Wanna Party is the fourth routine where the main coach was recorded along with one or more background dancers or elements. It follows Rabiosa, Judas, and Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).
- The dancing crowd from the background of Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) is reused.
- An early menu icon can be found in the servers of Just Dance 2023 Edition.
- This early icon can be seen in promotional material for the game and in its tutorial screen.
- The routine originally had five Gold Moves instead of two.[9]
- The pictograms have default colors in the Just Dance 2023 Edition segment in Ubisoft Forward, with some of them fading away earlier or later than they should.[2]
- In the same segment, Jerky Jessy, Elena Gambardella, and Andy Da Veiga are seen performing the routine.
- The preview and Just Dance 2023 Edition’s Ubisoft Forward segment contain a few differences in the routine from the final version:
- The background has lighter colors.
- There is no confetti falling from the sky.[10]
- Levitating’s appearance in the background includes GUI.[2]
- All the background coaches that appeared throughout the routine return during the final chorus instead of a select few.[2]
- The moves performed by the coach of Sushi are reversed.
- If You Wanna Party was used to reveal Just Dance VR in a Pico 4 presentation, showing the final Gold Move of the routine, albeit cut off.[11]
- Two pictograms for If You Wanna Party can be seen in the background of the page "Comment on fait: une choré Just Dance" on the website Ubisoft Stories.[12]
- The full routine was revealed on the 舞力全开 website a little under a month before the game released and was removed soon after.[13]
- The routine can be spotted in the background of Can’t Stop the Feeling! (Danceverse Prince Version).
- The routine appears on a television at the start of Jamais Lâcher.
- On April 1, 2023, Just Dance’s French Twitter account posted a gameplay screenshot of the routine where all the coaches have Rabbid heads, to celebrate April Fools.[14]
- Oddly, the screenshot features no interface apart from the pictogram bar, which is from Just Dance 2018.
- On an unknown date in April 2023, If You Wanna Party and Walking on Sunshine were also made available in the demo of Just Dance 2023 Edition, replacing Dynamite (Extreme Version) and Sweet but Psycho.
- The routine was removed from the demo at July 4, 2023[15] and then was re-added on July 8, 2023.
- The moves in the chorus were chosen by Olympic Esports Series 2023 contestants Diegho San and Elsie Fang as their signature move in the YouTube short "Our #OlympicEsportSeries Finalists show us their signature move"[16]
- In the Just Dance Now song description file, the "JDVersion" string mistakenly reads "2022".[17]
- On the website version of Just Dance Now, the small version of the menu square was used as the regular-sized version[18], causing it to be slightly blurry when viewed clearly in the score menu screen.
- This was fixed on November 7, 2023, when the menu square was changed to the one from 舞力无限.
- On February 8, 2024, Just Dance’s Twitter account posted a picture of The Just Dancers (using the menu icon poses from If You Wanna Party) on the burning ship from Sail in response to a tweet promoting the release of the open beta of Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones, with the caption "I don’t think they’re very good at the game...".[19]
