It is also available in Kids Mode through Just Dance 2018 and Just Dance 2019 with a Just Dance Unlimited subscription. The title is shortened to "Istanbul" in-game.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The dancers are various people dressed as animals. They all have a blue outline.

P1 is a male in a red parrot costume. He is wearing a blue silk jacket, a golden hat, golden shoes, and a golden belt. The end feathers on his left wing are blue, whereas those on his right wing are yellow and serve as his glove.
P2[]
P2 is a female in a grey shark costume. She is wearing a red bra, a hot-pink skirt, sparkly golden flats, and a red hat. Her right flipper is light pink and functions as her glove.
P3[]
P3 is a male in a zebra costume with blue hair. He is wearing salmon trousers, black shoes, and a black jacket with golden assets. His right hoof where his glove would be is blue.
P4[]
P4 is a male in a brown rat costume. He is wearing a purple jacket with black sleeves, purple trousers, brown shoes, and a purple hat, along with a cream glove.
Background[]
This section is a stub. You can help by adding to it.
The routine takes place inside a building in what resembles a Turkish scenery. The building has three columns on the outside, and on the inside is a yellow floor, on which some brown carpets lie along with a golden genie bottle and a brown palm tree in a planter box. In the background, a rendition of the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque can be seen, along with other buildings in the style of those seen in Asia Minor. In certain moments of this song, one can see a mouse and a bird on a flying rug.
Gold Moves[]
There are 4 Gold Moves for each coach in this routine:
Gold Moves 1 and 2: Put your hand near your right ear and spin your head from left to right.
Gold Moves 3 and 4 (P2 and P3): Put your hands up while facing each other.
Gold Moves 3 and 4 (P4): Jump with your left hand down and your right hand up.
Gold Moves 3 and 4 (P1): Jump with your hands up.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Istanbul (Not Constantinople) is the third song in the Just Dance series that has the name of a city in its title, after Viva Las Vegas and Night Boat To Cairo.
- Istanbul (Not Constantinople) was supposed to have a Mashup, but for unknown reasons, it was removed from the final game.
Routine[]
- Istanbul (Not Constantinople) is the first Dance Crew in the Just Dance series where all coaches are dressed as animals.
- In the menu icon, the coaches pose in front of a gold glittery background instead of the actual one.
- By closely looking at two pictograms, the following editing errors can be noticed:
- In the first one, P3’s left arm goes through P2’s left shoulder, and the same happens with the following two pictograms.
- In the second one, P3’s right arm blends with P4’s left arm.
- Sometimes, there is a glitch in Never Gonna Give You Up where P1 appears on the scoring screen instead of Mister Overload.
- In Just Dance Unlimited, Istanbul (Not Constantinople) does not appear in the Just Dance 4 playlist.
- P3 returns in Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) as P2, wearing the outfit from Turn Up the Love (Fanmade).
- P3 appears in the trailer for Season 1: Once Upon A Dance, despite Istanbul (Not Constantinople) not being a part of the season.
