"Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" by Brian Hyland (covered by The Sunlight Shakers in-game) was meant to be featured on Just Dance 2017, but it was scrapped. A new and different routine was created for the song and released in Just Dance 2018.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
P1[]
P1 is a woman with curly dark brown hair. She has red and green flower crown and a blue and yellow lei. She wears a red bra. She also wears a green and yellow skirt made out of seashells.
P2[]
P2 is a female pink starfish. She has a small yellow polka-dotted bikini, the namesake of the song. She also wears a bright blue head bow and two yellow polka-dotted clams on her chest.
Background[]
During the chorus, it changes to an ocean background containing seahorses, coral, and singing clams.
During the verses, the background moves to a beach with palm trees, umbrellas, beach towels, and crabs playing with a beach ball.
Gold Moves[]
There are 5 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Moves 1, 2, 3 and 4:
- P1: Raise your left arm and puts your right hand on P2’s left arm
- P2: Stretch your left arm out and raise and bend your right arm at 45°.
Gold Move 5:
- P1: Put your right arm down and your left hand near your mouth, as if you were shouting.
- P2: Stretch your left arm out and and bend your right arm at a right angle.

Routine[]
- If Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini had been featured in Just Dance 2017, it would have been the Duet routine with the lowest number of unique pictograms, with only 22.
- In the files of the game, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini does not have an artist credited for the cover; instead, the artist string reads "TBD" (to be determined), which suggests that the routine was scrapped in very early development.
- An Autodance for the map can be found in the Autodance servers.
- Oddly, the end card uses the Just Dance 2016 logo.
- In a leaked pre-rendered gameplay video, the Gold Move pictograms retain their default features (normal body color with a golden outline) instead of being fully golden.
- P2’s avatar is red despite the coach’s costume being pink.
- The menu square for the beta routine has been accidentally used in the notification for the playlist "Deep Sea Dancin’" playlist on Just Dance Now.
- Additionally, P1’s pose from the album coach of the beta routine was used on the icon for the 2023 and 2024 versions of the Just Dance Now playlist "Beat Flow".
