Jack Rose is a character from Just Dance 2023 Edition, officially debuting in Locked Out of Heaven and serving as one of the main characters of the "Enter the Danceverses" storyline. He is a pop star and the son of the villain Night Swan. Initially an ally of Night Swan, he realizes the error of his ways and joins the Just Dancers to defeat her.

Jack Rose returns in "Dance with the Swan", where he ends up as the only uncorrupted member of the Just Dancers after Night Swan transforms his friends into her dark puppets.

Biography[]

Jack Rose is a dazzling celebrity performer with a deep passion for dancing, with his shows depicted to be shimmering, eye-catchy and engaging concerts attended by legions of fans. His performance and charisma are shown to be years of practice from a young age, as featured in the introductory scene in Locked Out of Heaven. While he is shown to perform a great performance and act, Jack Rose is a subdued and solemn person behind the curtains, always standing by Night Swan's side or looking at strangers with suspicion and distrust. He is also avoidant in direct contact or confrontation, preferring to keep his distance from them.

Jack is also the son of Night Swan[1], the main antagonist of the story. Although their interactions are vague, it is implied that they have a neutral-to-positive relationship, as shown throughout his routine via Night Swan looking at him during one of his practices as a child and after one of his biggest performances. However, following her forcibly transforming Wanderlust and his fans into minions, it ended with a heated argument in the background that quickly sours their relationship. Jack Rose also has "mommy issues", which seemingly exacerbate his relationship with Night Swan.[2]

In promotional content, he is described as cocky and having difficulty sharing the spotlight.[3] Additionally, Sara monologues of whether or not that she could trust him given his associations with Night Swan.
