Just Dance (known in development as Just Dance Next) is a live service that serves as the platform for Just Dance 2023 Edition and subsequent installments, as well as the add-on service Just Dance+. The service allows players to access all of their purchased songs in one place without switching games. If the player has not purchased a song pack, the service functions as a free demo and allows access to two songs from the latest installment.
The service was launched alongside Just Dance 2023 Edition on November 22, 2022. It was updated to the branding of Just Dance 2024 Edition on October 9, 2023, and Just Dance 2025 Edition on October 1, 2024.
Gameplay and Features[]
The Just Dance service houses the features of Just Dance 2023 Edition and future installments, with various features added at different times. Players can access these features (Workout Mode, multiplayer, etc.) without purchasing a song pack but are limited to the demo songs. When a song pack is purchased, progress carries over. All cosmetics and achievements are synced to the platform and available for use regardless of the song pack the player owns, although some require specific songs to unlock.

Each installment (Just Dance 2023 Edition, Just Dance 2024 Edition, etc.) was released as a song pack. Additionally, the following song packs will be released during the cycle of Just Dance 2025 Edition and will be playable on all Editions on the Just Dance service.[1]
As of an unknown date, all maps featured in Music Packs allow camera scoring.

A music pack containing fitness-themed maps is set to be released on January 2025. The pack will contain 6 songs, including 3 new tracks.[3]
Trivia[]
- From December 7 to 14, 2023, the official Just Dance Twitter account hosted a contest where followers had to tag a friend that they always beat at Just Dance and say which song pack they would prefer between Just Dance 2023 Edition and Just Dance 2024 Edition, with two winners being picked for each edition.[4]
- Camera scoring was added on December 12, 2023, starting off with a beta test supporting the following songs:[5]
- The title update 25.0.0 was accidentally announced through Just Dance’s Twitter account a day before its official release.[6]
- Zoey and Bunee appear in the Pop Party pack's promotional picture, even though the songs they appear in, Greedy and Boy's a Liar Pt. 2, are not featured in the pack.
