Just Dance 2025 Edition is the sixteenth installment in the main Just Dance series, serving as the third annual song pack for the Just Dance service.[5]
The game was mentioned in the June update presentation on June 17, 2024,[5] and officially revealed the following day during the Nintendo Direct. The game released on October 15, 2024.

Natasja.
- Easy or Intense, choose your challenge: Whether you play with your friends or your family, there's choreography for everyone, from easy to more challenging. Some songs even offer different difficulty levels depending on the coach you choose.
- There's always a reason to dance, all-year long: Take part in themed seasonal events year-round with new and exciting songs, a dedicated progression track, and new rewards.
- Workout mode for fitness enthusiasts: Start your own fitness routine and exercise while having fun in Workout mode. Keep yourself motivated by tracking calories burnt and time spent dancing.
- One platform with all content: Regardless of if you or your friends own Just Dance 2023 Edition, Just Dance 2024 Edition, or Just Dance 2025 Edition, all players are connected on the same platform. If you own several editions, all content is together in the same place!

This is a music-rhythm game in which players perform choreographed routines by following the movements of on-screen characters. Players score points by accurately dancing in time to the music and scrolling indicators. - Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first installment on the Just Dance service to be rated E10+.
- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first game since Just Dance 3 to not have a physical release for any Xbox console, as the Xbox Series version of the game is not available through a code-in-box release and is only available digitally.
- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first annual song pack on the Just Dance service to include themed song packs.
- When advertising Just Dance+ in the announcement trailer, Woman (All-Mother Version) is seen in the spiral despite not being featured on the service.
- Call Me Maybe also appears to have no background within its square.
- Just Dance 2025 Edition shares the same release date as Just Dance VR.[1]
- "Can’t Touch Me Now" by Phoenix Dubois was used as the intro to the announcement of the game.[8]
- Ari, UnicornLover, and Lumen Brooks, as well as Scotty’s flower, Brezziana’s boombox, a flamingo pool float from the Flamingo Beach location, and hearts and stars from Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2 can be seen on the cover art.
- Control Response, Mi Gente lo Siente, Paint The Town Red and its extreme do not have a preview trailer for unknown reasons, though the latter two had silent clips shown on Instagram and was prefaced with an announcement saying they were unable to give them previews.[9]
- Retailer MediaMarkt erroneously claimed on the Dutch version of its website that "22" by Taylor Swift and "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were included in the game.[10]
- The Ariana Grande song pack was initially marketed by retailers as being an add-on that could be played by anyone with any game on the Just Dance service.[6] However, when it was fully announced, it was clarified that the pack is exclusive to Just Dance 2025 Edition as part of the main list and is not sold separately.[11]

- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first game in the franchise where an artist has more than three songs featured in one game.
- The artist in question is Ariana Grande, with five songs being featured in the game: break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored, One Last Time, the boy is mine, we can’t be friends (wait for your love), and yes, and?.
- Just Dance 2025 Edition ties with Just Dance 2017 as the main series game with the most Ubisoft original songs in the main tracklist, with 6.

- On Ubisoft’s promotional email for the song pack, Just Dance 2024 Edition is accidentally mentioned in the title[12], and the track lists for Just Dance 2024 Edition and Just Dance 2023 Edition are displayed before that for Just Dance 2025 Edition.
- Besides, in the part about the Ariana Grande song pack, we can’t be friends (wait for your love) is simply referred to as we can’t be friends, and the song titles of yes, and? and One Last Time are not separated from the following heart symbol by a space.[13]
- Just Dance 2025 Edition is the first game in the history of the main series to not include any song from the 1970s.
