Kids Mode is a mode for Just Dance 2018, Just Dance 2019, Just Dance 2020, 舞力全开, Just Dance 2021, and Just Dance 2022. On Just Dance 2018, a total of eight special choreographies "developed with the help of kids’ experts to encourage healthy movement" feature in this mode in each game.
The mode itself is exclusive to 8th-gen consoles, 9th-gen consoles and Google Stadia[1], but the songs appear in the tracklist for all 7th-generation consoles on Just Dance 2018, Just Dance 2019, and Just Dance 2020. The songs can also be played through the normal Just Dance mode on 8th-gen consoles, 9th-gen consoles and Google Stadia.

Scoring[]
- Instead of using the main game’s scoring system (which uses words like "PERFECT" or "SUPER"), Kids Mode uses words such as "HAHA", "YAY" and "WOW".
- "Superstar" (11,000) and "Megastar" (12,000) scoring goals are not used in Kids Mode, instead you get rainbow stars by 11,000 points, in a similiar way to getting "Superstar" in Just Dance Mode.
- Depending on the game, in order to use the main scoring, you need to use the Search tab.

- Pictograms and lyrics are not shown in Kids Mode.
- In Just Dance 2018 and Just Dance 2020, all songs have their backgrounds missing from their menu squares. In Just Dance 2019, Sugar and Water Me are the only ones to have the background.
- Mi Mi Mi uses a recolored version of the original background.
- In the Kids Mode section of the menu, the album backgrounds of all routines are a swirling burst based on the 2A menu color.
- As such, all Kids Mode tracks originating in Just Dance 2021 feature a non-default color for at least 2A in their files.
- All the routines can be accessed and played in Just Dance Mode by searching them with the Search feature.
- In this case, pictograms are displayed and the covers include the background.
- In previews, the Gold Move sparkles are invisible due to a glitch.[2]
- When the avatar has not been loaded yet, it is replaced by a gray sleeping face with a thinking cloud that says "ZZZ".
- The same method was used in Just Dance 2017.
- On 7th-Gen consoles, Kids Mode routines appear as part of the main tracklist.
- In Just Dance 2018, latter copies of Just Dance 2019 and Just Dance 2020, they appear after Classic routines; in early copies of Just Dance 2019, instead, they appear in random order.
- Like 8th-Gen consoles, the 7th-Gen does score at all like the former for this mode.
- In the game files of Just Dance 2018, 2019 and 2020, there are used squares for routines that were meant to be available in Kids Mode.
- There are also several placeholder squares, which borrow the design from regular placeholder icons and add the word "Kids" in the middle, which is placed diagonally and written in a rainbow font.
- The original Kids routines can be played on World Dance Floor.[citation needed]
- Unlike Just Dance Kids (series), Kids Mode uses the score system like the main gameplay.
- This is also the only mode to use the new rainbow stars scoring.
Just Dance 2018[]
- When a Just Dance Unlimited routine is played but its respective avatar cannot be loaded, Keep on Moving’s avatar is used as a placeholder.
- In their respective scoring screens, instead, Ring My Bell’s avatar is displayed as default.
- Just Dance 2018 is the only game without original Ubisoft songs used in Kids Mode (not counting Just Dance Unlimited).
Just Dance 2019[]
- Kids Mode songs cannot be opened in the songs tab nor can they be added to a playlist.
Just Dance 2020[]
- Just Dance 2020 is the first game whose all Kids Mode exclusive songs are music composed by Ubisoft and not stock library music (not counting Just Dance Unlimited).
- In the song's trailers on the Just Dance channel, a pink picture of the troll face appears on all the avatar slots before the avatars of the coaches.
- However, this image has been in the files since Just Dance 2018.
Just Dance 2022[]
- Just Dance 2022 is the second game to not have any new routines on Kids Mode, after 舞力全开.
