"Accelerating Slapstick Fun" by Gert Wilden, credited in-game as "Mugsy Baloney" by Charleston, is featured on Just Dance 2, Just Dance: Best Of, Just Dance Now, Just Dance Unlimited, and 舞力无限. It was featured on Just Dance 3 as a downloadable track, but became unavailable following the shutdown of the Wii Shop Channel on January 30, 2019, and the removal of the routine from the Xbox 360 Marketplace on August 20, 2023. It was also featured on 舞力全开:活力派, but was made unavailable following the shutdown of the game on February 17, 2020. It was planned to be on Just Dance: Greatest Hits, but was scrapped for unknown reasons. The song can be also found in the files of Just Dance+.[3]
Appearance of the Dancers[]
P1[]
P1 is a woman with short light orange hair in a bob, and a blue feather in her hair, which is connected to a red band by a white ring. She wears a light orange elbow-length glove on her left hand, a big white bracelet on her wrist, a hot pink Charleston dress with light brown accessories, a pair of bright yellow heels, and a blue glove on her right hand, which covers another light orange elbow-length glove.
P2[]
P2 is a man with a dark orange fedora that has a dark blue stripe. He is wearing a blue shirt with a melon undershirt, a pair of pink suspenders, an orange and pink striped tie, a pair of melon pants with purple pockets, and a pair of white shoes with purple accessories. He also wears a hot pink glove.
Remake[]
In the remake, the coaches do not change, except for the fact that they are more realistic and that some of their clothes are slightly darker, and some other clothes are visibly lighter. P1’s glove is now light brown, but some spots of it are dark brown. They now have a very visible white outline.
Background[]
Just Dance 2[]
The background is a light brown stage with dark brown decorations. There are many lights on the floor, which are reflective.
Just Dance 3/Best Of[]
In Just Dance 3/Best Of, the background is lighter and the floor is darker but still reflective. Two spotlights appear from the sides of the background. In the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, a spotlight moves around the screen at the beginning before the dancers start dancing.
Remake[]
In the Remake, the background has no changes, except that the floor is slightly darker and that the spotlights are removed.

The number of Gold Moves varies in each game: on Just Dance 2, the Wii version of Just Dance 3, and Just Dance: Best Of, there are 4 Gold Moves for each dancer, on the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, there are 6 Gold Moves for P1 and 5 Gold Moves for P2, and in the remake, there are 2 Gold Moves for each dancer.

Trivia[]
General[]
- The song title is a word pun and reference to Bugsy Malone, a 1976 British musical gangster film which was set in Chicago in the early 1920s.
- Despite being used for a Duet, a clip of the song is heard at the end of the preview music for Solo Medley on Just Dance 2.
Routine[]
- Mugsy Baloney is the first Duet to include asynchronous Gold Moves. It is followed by Barbie Girl.
- On the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, P1 has one more Gold Mov than P2, as P2’s original Gold Move 4 is not present.[4] This makes it the first multiplayer routine in the history of Just Dance to have an uneven distribution of Gold Moves.
- Additionally, Gold Moves 1, 2, 4 and 5 for P1 are represented by one pictogram despite two consecutive Gold Moves being performed and scored. This marks the second time in the series that two or more Gold Moves have been represented by one pictogram, after Viva Las Vegas.
- In order to achieve a 1920s vintage film effect, the routine was performed with the song slowed down, and it was then sped up.[5]
- In all versions prior to the remake, the following editing errors can be noticed on the coaches’ outfits:
- P1’s dress constantly changes color to red.
- P1’s glove constantly changes color from brown to light brown.
- In the preview gameplay of Just Dance 2, P1’s pictograms have blue arrows (which are supposed to match P2’s pictograms).
- On the menu square from Just Dance 2, the dancers’ clothes have completely different shades (probably for vintage effects): P1 has a light purple feather in her hair, a red dress with darker accessories, lighter hair, and a lighter purple glove on her left hand, while P2 wears an orange fedora, a magenta-purple shirt, darker suspenders, yellow pants, an orange and white striped tie, and a red glove.
- They are also mirrored, and their positions switched.
- This was fixed in Just Dance 3 and Just Dance: Best Of.
- Besides, two yellow spotlights are seen in the background, despite not being featured in the routine. These were removed in the assets for the remake.
- They are also mirrored, and their positions switched.
- On the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, both coaches are reversed in the coach selection screen.
- P2’s avatar looks notably different from the coach: its fedora is red with a blue band, and it has a red bandana instead of a tie.
- On Just Dance Now, the pictograms are extremely glitchy, with some of them reaching the end of the bar out of sync and others being unintentionally cropped in half.
- Two slight editing mistakes can be seen on the pictograms of the remake: in the first one, there are some magenta pixels on P1’s swirl arrow; in the second one, two small parts of P2’s swirl arrow are fuchsia instead of blue.
