"Murder on the Dancefloor" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor is featured on Just Dance+.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
P1[]
P1 is Leda, a human woman who has her hair neatly tied in a bun, and she is seen wearing a pink top and black leggings. As a coach, she has black eyeliner with pink accents and light pink lipstick. Her hair is tied into a ponytail, resembling the hairstyle that Sophie Ellis-Bextor has in the music video, but with a hot pink streak added on the front. She wears a black top with pink streaks on the sides and a gold ring on the center, which connects two black and pink feathers that wrap around her neck. She also wears black leggings that are attached to the top and black ballerina shoes with pink ribbons that lead to pink feather stamps on the lower sides of the leggings. Lastly, she wears a black translucent sheer long-sleeved top that is open on the front, leaving the top underneath exposed, and leads onto an asymmetrical skirt. Across her right sleeve she has a dark pink arm warmer.
P2[]
P2 is a younger version of The Traveler, the coach from Rock Your Body. His appearance is mostly kept the same, but without facial hair and his cloak.
Background[]
Our story begins with a woman from Earth named Leda, being approached by The Traveler. He invites her to come to his world, with Discoball reaching out to her. Leda accepts his offer, and is transported into the Danceverses. The routine takes place in a special observatory located within the Spacetime Hotel, with many lights flashing to the beat of the song. Midway through the verse, the inner layer of the roof begins to unfold, revealing the starry space which surrounds them. In the pre-choruses, the room’s geometry begins to shift, as it attempts to focus on a far-off planet in the distance. The golden accents shine brightly as the room rotates.
When the telescope finishes gaining focus, the first planet seen is for All The Stars. When it is in view, The Traveler opens up a portal to the planet, causing glowing blue hollow cubes, and lightning bugs to appear around them, while the floor begins to sprout various exotic plants, with a blue mist around the foliage. After the chorus, the room returns to its original layout.
The second planet seen is for Yo Le Llego. The Traveler opens a portal to it, and the room takes on a warm yellow-orange tint, with palm trees spawning in, and fishes swimming around them. This time, the effect persists when the room once again returns to its base form.
In the bridge, the lights dim and a platform begins to rise. The roof once again opens up, revealing the planets for Stupid Love, Rare, and Sua Cara.
The Traveler teaches her how to open portal with the power of Flow, althrough it was difficult for her, she achieves it.
At the end of the routine, the Traveler opens a portal home for Leda, but she closes it, implying that she wants to stay with him.
