Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is a woman named Alzena. She has thin eyebrows, colored lips, and shoulder-length hair with curly and wavy ends. Her appearances are based on specific portions of the song. She switches through a troubled, sad figure into a colorful, yet intense figure during said specific portions.
C1[]
In her C1 form, she is presented as a troubled and depressed black and white, scribble-like figure. Her hair and eyebrows are black, and her lips are gray. She wears a black open denim jacket, dark gray shirt, dark gray baggy pants, and light gray sneakers with white laces, frontal section, and soles. Splashes and spots of dark gray and black are present all over her appearances and all trace folds on her outfit are white. She also wears a moderate violet glove and has a white scribble-like outline.
C2[]
In her C2 form, she is presented as a colorful but stoic figure. Her hair is purple that has hot pink curly ends, her eyebrows are purple and her lips are magenta. She wears a black top with large arm homes and a large V-shaped cleavage that exposes her red bra. The waist section of her top contains woven splatter-like embellishments in hot pink, purple, and sky blue. Over her top is a dark blue open jacket, splattered with cyan, hot pink, purple, orange, and yellow colors.
Her outfit prominently features long hair-like loose and flowing threads on the shoulders of her jacket and on her waist, with the latter long enough to be her skirt. The threads are hot pink, yellow, red, blue, cyan, and purple, and the arrangement of the front surface of the threads varies in its placements. On her shoulders, the threads are mainly hot pink, while the threads on her skirt are divided into hot pink, purple, and cyan parts that match the position of the embellishments on her top.
Hiding underneath her thread skirt is a pair of black undergarments. She also wears a pair of black above-the-ankle length boots. Her accessories include three loose golden chain necklaces and golden bracelets on her left wrist. She also wears a green glove and she has a cyan faded outline.
Background[]
The background takes place in the Mindscape, an abstract art-themed world located within Alzena's mind.[2][3] When Alzena is on her C1 form, it is made of black and white scribbles, and colorful paint strokes when on her C2 form.
The routine starts out with the title card being written on a wall of foggy glass. Alzena is looking at her colored self on its reflection. When she touches the glass, it breaks apart, and the camera goes through it to reveal Alzena standing on a black void. Throughout the first verse, she appears in different locations of an old abstract building made of black and white scribbles and chalk textures, like disembodied walls and halls. Each location appears by strong white lightning revealing the place. Before the chorus starts, she appears in an abandoned long room with wood planks scattered around. The room starts to stretch and the lightning glitches, leading onto the chorus. During the chorus, the background changes to a city made out of paint strokes, moving forward within every second.
During the second verse, the background is white with black doors closing as the coach enters the middle one, which the background is now black with giant white birdcages floating around the background as the coach enters one of the birdcages. During the second pre-chorus, the background is white which features black lampposts and then the coach enters on a tunnel with white lights. During the second chorus, the coach is standing on a cube-shaped platform with splatters of color which rises fast. During the lines “And I know I may end up failing too” and “But I know you were just like me with someone disappointed in you”, there are big shards of glass that features Alzena's C1 form. During the ending, the entire routine blurs.
