"Play Date" by Melanie Martinez is featured on Just Dance 2025 Edition.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is a 2D animated woman named Vanessa. She has pale yellow-tinted skin, black lips, and black shoes.
In her C1 form, she has green eyes and a red glove. She wears a white fuzzy head scarf covering with two red beads on the left of her head, and one red beads on the right. On her neck is a green scarf and she wears a black and white dress with a golden belt around her waist, a white shin length skirt, and black Mary Jane shoes with green socks.
When the second chorus starts, Vanessa transforms into her C2 form. She now has blue eyes, a blue glove, and pale blue socks. She has black free-flowing hair and a red scarf, pale green bead earrings, and ear decorations, a black dress with pale blue highlights, and a pale green belt around her waist, which flows along with her movements.
Background[]
The map takes place on a stage, which is part of a large, mechanical hermit crab structure with mushrooms and branches upon its shell. The main stage consists of a checkerboard patterned floor and red curtains with a yellow flower pattern. The curtains open to show an audience of snail folk sitting down at tables, while others are unraveling a long white cloth with black stripes and spots. The walls are green and covered with an elegant floral print, and its accents match the aforementioned red curtains. The floor is made of hardwood.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Step back and spread your arms wide and then retract them.
Gold Move 2: Put your feet together and raise your arms upwards in a spiral pattern.

- The style of the map is reminiscent of old Eastern European animation.
