"Professor Pumplestickle" by Two Steps from Hell (credited as Nick Phoenix & Thomas J. Bergersen in-game) was featured on Just Dance 2, Just Dance 3, and Just Dance 4 as a downloadable track but became unavailable for purchase on the Wii following the shutdown of the Wii Shop Channel on January 30, 2019, and on the Wii U following the delisting of Just Dance games from the eShop in late 2019. On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the DLC was taken down at an unknown date. The song remains playable on Just Dance: Summer Party, Just Dance Now, Just Dance Unlimited, Just Dance+, 舞力无限, and remains available for purchase on non-Nintendo consoles on applicable games. It was also featured on 舞力全开:活力派 before the shutdown of the game.
On Just Dance: Summer Party and Just Dance 3, the song title is spelled in French as "Professeur Pumplestickle".
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The routine consists of two men with green skin.
P1[]
P1 is a male magician with a maroon beard and green skin. He wears a tall blue top hat, yellow glasses, a green and purple blazer with a yellow shirt underneath, dark blue pants, blue striped socks, and red boots. He also holds a sparkling wand.
P2[]
P2 is a male pumpkin-headed scarecrow. He wears a yellow bodysuit, green shorts with blue suspenders, green grassy anklets, and green and black shoes with short heels.
Background[]
Original[]
The dance takes place in a lab with machines and meters, with a curtain, a luminous sign with the title of the song and an Illuminati emblem at the center, and a blue mist.
Remake[]
Starting from Just Dance 4 onwards, the machine looks more detailed, with a big pipe sending water into the center of the machinery. Fire comes out at the sides of the machine, and the curtain has some decorations that light up.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Professor Pumplestickle along with Funhouse, Gangnam Style, and Die Young are the only 4 songs to appear as DLC for 3 games.
- In the Just Dance 4 store, the names of the artists are abbreviated to "N. Pheonix" and "T. Bergersen".
- In Just Dance: Summer Party and Just Dance 3, the title is spelled in French as Professeur Pumplestickle.
- This spelling is also notable in the code name of all versions of the map ("Professeur").
- In 舞力全开:活力派, the artists are credited as 尼克・菲尼克斯与托马斯・贝格森; this translation alters their surnames as "Phillips" (instead of "Phoenix") and "Bergson" (instead of "Bergersen").
Routine[]
- Professor Pumplestickle is the first routine in the Just Dance series where a coach is holding an object in their right hand (in this case, P1 holds a magic wand).
- It is also the first routine where the object is represented on the pictograms.
- However, that no longer happens from Just Dance 4 onwards.
- It is also the first routine where the object is represented on the pictograms.
- P1’s pants are glitchy, as they tend to acquire a green shade when he turns left.
- His glove also turns orange when he raises his hand.
- Some moves lack their respective pictograms.
- In the Just Dance: Summer Party trailer, the coaches are in front of Maniac’s background and their color schemes are slightly different.
- Additionally, in promotional content for the game, both pictograms have the same color.
- P2 later reappears in This is Halloween, but with a few minor changes.
- A demo version of Professor Pumplestickle is available for the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3.
- From Just Dance 4 onwards, the first two Gold Moves from Just Dance 3 have been removed.
- Many pictograms for the remake have names referencing Harry Potter.
- P1’s avatar has white skin, although the coach’s skin is actually green.
- The Just Dance Now pictograms sprite features twelve unused pictograms (ten from Just Dance 3 and two from Just Dance 4).
- In Just Dance Unlimited, pictograms are repeated less frequently.
- As of an unknown date, the phone version of the Just Dance Now menu icon has been slightly altered in comparison to the one used on the website, as the coaches are now more distanced from one another.
