"Sacrifice" by The Weeknd is featured on Just Dance+.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is a vampire named Vester De Ville. He has burgundy red pushed back hair, sharp eyebrows, yellow eyes with black pupils, black sharp eyeliner, faint red lips and fangs, which are visible when he opens his mouth to bite someone. On his right ear is a dark indigo hanging earring with a crescent moon hanging from it and on his left ring finger is a dark indigo ring.
He wears a dark indigo vest, with the lapel lines colored burgundy red and has a silver chain across his torso and a belt on his waist. Over his vest is a dark bordeaux red coat with a metallic shin, with stiff shoulders and reaching down to his knee. He also wears dark mauve pants with thin burgundy red diagonal lines below the knees, black socks and black shiny boots. After the first chorus, the coat disappears, revealing dark bordeaux red sleeves underneath. His glove is dark bordeaux red and has a shine similar to his coat.
Vester has a colored and faded outline, which changes in certain parts of the song. From the first verse to the first chorus and in the bridge, his outline is red. From the second verse to the second chorus, his outline is blue. During the outro, his outline is white.
Background[]
This section is a stub. You can help by adding to it.
The routine begins with the title card; which is the word "SACRIFICE" written in all caps in front of a yellow-ish nothingness. As the dancer walks in, it fades away and the dance starts.
The empty yellow background fills with a monocolored cityscape that could be described as a "vampire town". It is an empty street with buildings, old-style cars, and very dim lamp posts. Additionally, it also seems to have hallucinations of a man wearing top hat. Another dancer (maybe the dancers shadow) comes out of the Vester De Ville.
After the second verse, the background becomes clear and the city in the background is slightly more visible and has it's own color. However, this verse seems to be more dedicated to driving/cars because there are more traffic lights and cars in the background. The hallucinations of the man are now bigger and standing out more. Behind him, a new place is seen called "SACRIFICE CLUB" (With the word "Sacrifice" written in the songs logo).
During the next chorus, Vester De Ville is inside of the Sacrifice Club with a neon sign of a person with a beaded necklace. It lies on top of a brick wall which is next to a gate. There are two staircases in the back and one of them has a poster on it. There are many people dancing inside but one particular person appears behind Vester De Ville.
During the bridge, the song breaks into a cutscene and Vester dances with this person as the background fades to red. The camera dramatically zooms into the two dancers as the whole room darkens and Vester attempts to "suck the other dancer's blood".
To finish the map, the background whites out and becomes foggy.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Swing your arms backwards while stepping back.

Trivia[]
- Sacrifice is the fifth song by The Weeknd in the series.
- It is also his first song to be a Just Dance+ and/or Just Dance Unlimited exclusive.
- "F**k" is censored.
- The background character is portrayed in the pictograms as a grey body, thus making Sacrifice the first Solo map with pictograms that consist of two bodies in the same canvas.
- It is the third map in the entire series where this happens, after Sway (Quién Será) (in Just Dance 2) and The World is Ours.
- The pictogram for Gold Move 2 is placed more upwards than the others.
- An early video file can be found in the servers, where the following differences can be noticed:
- The title card was black with a light yellow glow (which was changed to lilac in a second beta version) instead of red-brownish with no glow, and it had no reflection on the floor.
- Vester De Ville’s outline was light yellow instead of red and blue-violet, and it did not change color.
- The background consisted of a red-brown backdrop with projections of the scenes seen in the final version, and the routine had no camera movements.
- In the scene where Vester pretends to bite the background character, the background remains static and no lighting effects are applied on either character.
- This beta version of the scene is used in promotional material for the map.
- Vester does not fade into smoke while walking away; besides, when he reaches a specific point on the left side of the screen, he is cut out by an invisible wall.
- In promotional art for Season 3: Beach, Summer & Vampires, Vester wears a pair of shades, which he does not wear in the actual routine.
- On August 19, 2023, the Just Dance Instagram and TikTok accounts posted a video explaining the lore behind the map. The reel has the caption "no he doesn’t sparkle under the sun x", referencing one of the characteristics of the vampires from the Twilight novel series.
