Si’Ha Nova is a recurring Just Dance character who first appeared in Just Dance 2022. She is a powerful deity and was a central character in the lore of Just Dance 2022, which served as a prelude to Enter the Danceverses. She is the mother of the main character Wanderlust.
Background[]
- Main article: Season 4: The Traveler
Si’Ha Nova was first teased in the trailer for Season 4: The Traveler as a mysterious alien that the Traveler is pursuing. Her song was not revealed at the time, but her appearance was teased multiple times ahead of the announcement. Her song would eventually be revealed to be Levitating and it, along with the Traveler’s Rock Your Body, would serve to promote Just Dance 2022.
Biography[]
Si’Ha Nova is a powerful deity who the Traveler is trying to reunite with.[2] She is first seen in Levitating, though nothing lore-related happens in the map itself. The background of the routine is implied to be her home planet but little else is known other than the fact that the coach from the extreme version is one of her guards.[3] The Traveler goes into a portal to this location at the end of Rock Your Body, but he is not seen in Levitating.
Si’Ha Nova does eventually reunite with the Traveler in Save Your Tears (Remix), but the two go their separate ways at the end of the routine. However, the portals they go through lead to each other’s Danceverses instead of their own and it is unclear why this happens. Despite this, subsequent lore posted on social media shows that they eventually reunite again and have a child, Wanderlust. These also show the early days of the family including her pregnancy,[4] The Traveler creating Discoball for a young Wanderlust,[5] and a young Wanderlust making a macaroni necklace for her.[6] It is currently unclear what happens after Wanderlust grows up as neither Si’Ha Nova nor the Traveler appear in the Enter the Danceverses and Dance with the Swan storylines. The only things that have been revealed are that the couple is doing well and is proud of how Wanderlust handled the Night Swan situation in Enter the Danceverses,[7] and that Si’Ha Nova was unable to intervene during the Dance with the Swan storyline because deities are not allowed to get involved with such things.[8]

Trivia[]
- Si’Ha Nova’s name was revealed in a "Would You Rather" game posted on Just Dance’s Instagram stories. The question was "Would you rather fly to another galaxy with Si’Ha Nova or rock your body with The Traveler?".[9]
- A creative director at Ubisoft Paris Studio confirmed that the coach’s name is a tribute to Littlesiha, a popular Just Dance streamer.[10][11]
- Wanderlust is described as the Danceverses Prince, which would imply Si’Ha Nova is the Danceverses Queen.
