"Soltera" by Shakira is featured on Just Dance+. It is also available through the Fiesta Latina Song Pack.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
P1[]
P1 is a woman named Nessa, who is Adora’s best friend.[2] She has long, wavy hot pink hair and matching pink eyebrows. Her makeup includes dark blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and pink lipstick. She wears a pair of sunflower earrings with dark blue backdrops. Her outfit consists of two parts: a turquoise cold shoulder crochet net top with long, wide sleeves; and a pair of half-turquoise, half-pink baggy patterned pants. The top and its sleeves are decorated with embroidered flowers in pink, blue, yellow, with a design above the waist in pink with yellow lining, and rich yellow ruffles at the end of the sleeves. Around her shoulders, she wears a colorful knitted bunting adorned with flowers. Her pants features a yellow tassel in front of the waist and yellow ruffles at the bottom. She has yellow shoes with white laces and soles. Her glove is purple.
P2[]
P2 is Adora, from La Bachata. Her appearance remains the same from the previous routine.
Background[]
The routine, as a continuation of La Bachata, begins with the title card, hovering just above the late afternoon ocean water. On the left are hills behind lit housings. And to the right, wooden piers, thatched-roof huts, palm trees, and beautiful sunset fill the scene as a fancy yacht moves across the water.
Nessa then drags Adora into frame, where this routine is taking place: a luxurious beachfront deck, with wooden floorboards superimposed by a glass panel in the middle, and stretch fabric canopies overhead. Pale lounge seatings, cement pots with small palm trees at the sides, tiny string lights, round red lantern lines, and small ground light bulbs can be seen around the deck.
During the intro, the title card sinks into the water, and the scenery becomes night. String lights and lanterns come to life as they illuminate their surroundings, flickering to the beat of the song.
After the first verse, the place goes dark, and orange spotlights shine on our dancers.
As the second verse begins, our dancers move outwards to the water, with the platform constructed of misty glass panels. The sky is now full of stars, the paper lotus flowers glow in red, and the colorful balls flash to the beat of the song. Above the platform is a fancy gateway, with curtains bound to the beams, and several hanging yellow light fixtures all around.
The routine ends as all light activities halt, and the sun rises once again.
Gold Moves[]
There are 2 Gold Moves in this routine, both of which are the same:
Both Gold Moves:
- P1: Face your body to the left, put your left hand on your hip and your right hand out with your right palm facing the ground as if your showing your nails.
- P2: Put your left hand on your hip and your right hand above your head with your right palm facing the right.
Gold Move 1 is done by P1 first, then by P2.
