"Soul Bossa Nova" by Quincy Jones and His Orchestra was planned to be on Just Dance but was scrapped for unknown reasons.[5] It was later featured on Just Dance 2, Just Dance Unlimited, Just Dance Now, 舞力无限, and Just Dance+.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
P1[]
P1 is a woman with aqua hair. She wears a yellow headband, deep pink earrings, a yellow dress with aqua and deep pink patterned circles, and orange stiletto boots. She also wears a blue bracelet on her wrist and a blue ring on her finger.
P2[]
P2 is a man with yellow hair. He wears an orange blazer, a purple button shirt, orange-pink and purple pinstripe pants, a white belt, and white shoes. In the remake, he wears aqua shoes instead.
Background[]
The background is mostly blue with some stage lights, the legs of two women (each on one side) kicking their legs onto pistols.
Gold Moves[]
Just Dance 2[]
There are 4 Gold Moves in this routine, all of which are the same:
All Gold Moves: Throw your arms out in a downward semi-circle.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Soul Bossa Nova is one of the few songs in the series whose short version does not start at the beginning of the song.
- In the Nintendo Switch notification for the event, the artist’s name is misspelled as "Quincy Jones & Gis Orchestra".[6]
Routine[]
- Soul Bossa Nova was the first multiplayer routine in the history of Just Dance in which both or all the coaches have the same glove color (fuchsia in this case).
- The coaches have a different color scheme on promotional material for Just Dance 2.
- The following differences can be noticed in the preview gameplay:
- The coaches have a slightly altered color scheme.
- The background is slightly different in terms of shading and details.
- The pictograms were made with a different model closer to the one used in Just Dance, and some of them were reused from I Want You Back (likely as placeholders).[7]
- The score tracking system has differently-designed icons and works in a similar way to the one from Just Dance, as it includes a "GREAT" feedback icon and lacks Gold Moves.
- The beta pictogram model and score tracking can also be seen in the first trailer of Just Dance 2.
- In the menu icon on Just Dance 2, P2 wears an additional yellow glove on his left hand, and the background has four fuchsia spotlights that are not seen in the actual routine.
- In Just Dance 2, the coaches are stretched vertically and the background glitches a lot.
- In the old Just Dance Now servers, several beta pictograms can be found. Some of them were made with the early model seen in the preview gameplay, whereas others were made with the Just Dance 2 model but are in a different color for P2 (ochre yellow instead of orange).
- Besides, three other pictograms are not transparent.
- One of the non-transparent pictograms is an early Gold Move pictogram, as it was made with the unused model, is golden, and glows.
- Besides, three other pictograms are not transparent.
- In the Just Dance Unlimited trailer for the Season 4: Just Dance 2020 Celebration, the pictograms from Just Dance 2 are mixed into one, as if the routine was a Solo.
- As a result, each pair of pictograms appears one above the other and stretched horizontally.
