"Stop This Fire" by Nius is featured on Just Dance 2025 Edition, Just Dance VR, 舞力无限, Just Dance Now, and 舞力全开：派对. It is also available in the 舞力全开 demo from October 2024.

Appearance of the Dancer[]

The coach is a woman named Lilas. She has blonde hair, butterfly-inspired makeup, and blue earrings, along with a purple and blue choker. She has small purple bows and a bigger blue bow in her hair. She is wearing an ombré orange-pink-purple puffy dress that consists of an orange-pink shiny bodice with a yellow jewel on it, a purple-ish pink underskirt with a translucent orange puff skirt over it. The dress has short sleeves that resemble colorful roses. Her leggings are ombré purple to pink and she is wearing magenta heels that have yellow flowers on the ankle. She is also wearing a long cyan right hand glove.

Background[]

The routine starts on a blue sky with the title on it, then a fireball comes out of the “i” and shoots down to the grass floor to reveal Lilas. The routine takes place in a city park, which features trees, a wooden bench, a dark brown lamppost, and some flowers. There is also pastel-colored city skyline in the background. During the chorus, Lilas shrinks and colorful glowing plants grow. During the bridge and rest of the routine, the city turns nighttime with a dark purple sky and golden bokeh lights and Lilas grows as the background moves away forwards. The fireball reappears with Lilas and flies away in the sky.

  • Stop This Fire is mentioned in the ESRB rating summary of Just Dance 2025 Edition, which references the line "The dirty talking it turns to play".[4] This marks the second time that a Ubisoft Original has appeared in a ratings summary, after Hot For Me in Just Dance 4.
  • On October 18, 2024, Just Dance released a Community Remix for the routine on social media, featuring various content creators from the community. It is the only Community Remix in the history of the series that was made without the intention of being featured in a game.
  • Stop This Fire is used as background music for the reveal trailer of Just Dance VR.
    • It also plays in the behind-the-scenes reel posted in celebration of the release of Just Dance 2025 Edition[5], as well as in every announcement of Just Dance+ updates since the release of Just Dance 2025 Edition.
    • Furthermore, an instrumental version is heard in the video "Just Dance 2025 Edition - Music Pack Trailer".
  • The song was written with contributions from Yoshi Breen and Jason Ok (who have worked with artists such as Kiss of Life[6], Friday[7], and Sam Feldt[8]), as well as Teemu Brunila (lead vocalist and songwriter of The Crash).[9]

  • Stop This Fire was the first map from Just Dance 2025 Edition to be released on Just Dance Now.
  • Three unused pictograms and an unused Gold Move (consisting of the first move after the bridge) can be found in the files of Just Dance VR.
  • Lilas was featured on a post by Just Dance celebrating the International Day of Pink, despite her color palette not including any shades of pink.
  • Lilas’s hairstyle was used as inspiration for Jennie Shoe’s.[10]
  • In the servers of Just Dance Now, the menu square for After Party is mistakenly used for the routine.[11]
  • Stop This Fire is the only song that uses the Just Dance 2025 Edition coach selection image on its addition to Just Dance Now as Control Response, Move Your Body, Sunlight, and Halloween’s Here all use the coach selection image from 舞力无限.
  • The initial Just Dance Now cover consisted of a cropped and slightly blurred version of the menu square, in which the coach selection image was masked into After Party’s coach selection image and used as the album coach.[12]
    • This makes Stop This Fire the only Just Dance 2025 Edition song to not have its original cover used as the Just Dance Now cover in comparison to other added Just Dance 2025 Edition routines.
      • As of an unknown date, the Just Dance Now cover was replaced with its original cover.
