"Sweet but Psycho" by Ava Max is featured on Just Dance 2023 Edition, 舞力无限, and Just Dance Now.
Along with Dynamite (Extreme Version), it was playable for free on the Just Dance service without purchasing the Just Dance 2023 Edition song pack, until an unknown date in early April 2023.
On Just Dance Now, the song can be only played by purchasing the Pop Queen song pack.
Appearance of the Dancer[]
The dancer is The Bride, the coach from Hot N Cold, in a disheveled outfit and appearance. She is a woman with red straight hair styled after the "Max Cut", with one side in a bob and the other side in a long strand that rests over her right shoulder, and a light pink bridal veil is pinned on her head and behind her hair. She also has thin red eyebrows, black eyeliner with pink smudges down on her eyes, tiny black dots resembling freckles, and red lips.
She wears an outfit that is split in the center, carrying two different motifs. The right side is her outfit from the original routine, which consists of a light pink sleeveless top with a hot pink shoulder border, and a light pink bundled and tied knee-length skirt with hot pink ribbons, with a hot pink crinoline visible in the left cut and open section of her skirt. The left side of her outfit consists of a shiny black leotard. Both sides of her outfit are held together by a hot pink crisscrossed stitch in the center and a hot pink belt on her waist. Lastly, she wears black fishnet leggings and light pink high heels.
The dancer accessories herself with a black choker, with small golden spikes on them and a thin golden ring in the center. Two golden necklaces are also present, with the first shorter and having a tiny pendant in the center while the second is longer and in chains. She wears a pair of over-the-elbow length gloves, with the left glove black and the right glove hot pink. She has a hot pink faded outline.
At the beginning of the routine, The Bride holds a bouquet of hot pink and white roses with a light pink ribbon which tosses away when the first verse begins.
Background[]
The background is a wedding reception. At the start of the routine, a wedding cake featuring the song's title, pink gold rose decorations and featuring The Bride and Rasputin (the Hot N Cold/Rasputin couple from Sugar) as cake toppers can be seen, which features a light tan colored frame with swirls on the top sides, which breaks as Rasputin's figure falls over right as the camera quickly pans to The Bride screaming.
The Bride travels to different parts of the venue where she wrecks through the environment.
In the first part, The Bride moves to a day-lit dining room with light blue walls with intricate designs and columns, white trims, arched windows, and two massive crystal chandeliers. In the middle of the room stands a long dining table under a white tablecloth with a light pink design in the middle and multiple brown dining chairs with a pink flower-like print. The table not only features the dancer but also candle holders and potted bouquets of pink and purple roses that she kicks off and around the room.
Then she scrolls through a light pink corridor with with trims and hardwood floors with blue and white carpets. The corridor features brown lamps with white shades and blue and white lounge seats, but most prominently multiple portraits of The Bride and Rasputin (from their appearance in Sugar). Portraits featuring Rasputin are tilted while the rest of the portraits are either broken in half or made them fall off of the wall by The Bride.
She then travels to a different part of the venue, where the wedding would've been officiated. The background shows trees and an arc made of vines and flowers. Featured outside during a sunset, the dancer stands on a wooden pavilion with a white floor and a light green structure with white curtains, overviewing a pergola with see-through white fabric loosely hanging off the ceiling. Two flower bouquets are hanged on a pole, one on each side of it. Behind The Bride is a white carpet with flower petals and rows of green wooden chairs that she flips over and away during her choreography.
Finally, The Bride moves to The Rosarium, and the time changes to night with the dark purple sky and stars. In the background, a few pine trees can be seen through the windows. The Rosarium consists of a brick floor that borders the multiple bushes of red and pink roses and black metal framing for the arched windows. During the choreography, the windows break around where the dancers punches, and an explosion composed of rose heads and leaves explode throughout the entire bridge, and once for the final chorus, the coaches of The Bride and Rasputin (from Sugar) can be seen dancing on the broken windows.
Just before we see the results of the routine, the background returns back from the verses except that is nighttime and The Bride can now be seen as a cake topper, Rasputin then suddenly walks in, shocked about the mess.

There are 3 Gold Moves in this routine:
Gold Move 1: Throw your arms out to the side.

This marks the second time the full gameplay of a Just Dance map was revealed by a person affiliated with Just Dance, after Can’t Stop the Feeling!.
- The upload date coincided with the release of the Just Dance 2023 Edition demo, which included Sweet but Psycho until early April 2023.

- The following anomalies can be noticed in some of the pictograms:
- In two of them, the upper punch emblem has been cut at the corner.
- In two other ones, the elbow blends with the torso.
- In another one, the left hand blends with the right forearm.
- The pictogram for Gold Move 1 is placed more upwards than the others.
- The Bride’s epic avatar can be seen in a behind-the-scenes video for Just Dance 2023 Edition, which implies it was likely meant to be available upon the launch of the first build of the game.[4]
- The routine can be spotted in the background of Can’t Stop the Feeling! (Danceverse Prince Version).
- On an unknown date in April 2023, Dynamite (Extreme Version) and Sweet but Psycho were replaced by If You Wanna Party and Walking on Sunshine as the two available maps in the demo of Just Dance 2023 Edition.
- One extra pictogram can be found in the 舞力无限 files.[5]
- The Bride returns in Payphone, with Alexandra Ponomaryova reprising her role.
